Did You Know...

... that Flyspot Liga meet videos feature the three new AAA Class teams?

2nd place in AAA: MAD Team
posted Dec 28th, 2020 - The AAA Class competition at the December meet of the Flyspot Liga was exclusively a Polish affair. Three teams from the Czech Republic had made the A Class and Rookie Class leaderboards more colorful, while only Polish home teams competed in the AAA Class.

The earlier update briefly covered how the three teams behind Flyspot Sky4Four related to each other in their team histories. The InTime competition videos are now showing the same three teams in action.

MAD Team, the newest and latest addition to AAA Class competition in Poland, turned out to finish once again ahead of the other two Polish newcomers in the same category, after the first 2nd place behind Sky4Four in November. They also tied one of the national 4-way champions' highscores, as they did twice in November.

MAD Team had the perfect start in November with two tied highscores in the first two rounds. This time, it was Round 7 where they matched the Sky4Four score. Flyspot Omega was only one point behind in this specific round, which was their closest round in relation to the top team in Omega's two AAA Class meets.

3rd place in AAA: Flyspot One2Three
MAD Team have to watch out for the two teams behind just as much as Sky4Four have new more serious opponents this year and in the near future. No Mercy, Poland's national team in 4-way Women, used to be a very strong opponent for several years and have not come back after their last meet in November 2019.

None of the four AAA Class teams were able to get close to their meet averages of November. Only Flyspot One2Three managed to finish almost on the same level, 17.4 in December, after 17.6 last month. All four AAA Class teams together had a total of 624 points in November, compared to 586 this month.

The eight December sequences used up 17 of the 22 blocks, compared to 14 in November. 15 of the 16 random formations were drawn in November, 11 only in December. The lower averages were no surprise.

The three meets in October, November and December were the only ones at Flyspot this year. The annual Polish Indoor Open had to be canceled due to the corona virus pandemic as other previously planned meets of the Flyspot Liga. New meets for the 2021 indoor season have not been scheduled yet.
