posted Mar 15th, 2019 - Thirteen teams used the next monthly opportunity of the World Tunnel League in the Czech Republic to get ready for upcoming major events or compete for the placings in the Czech league rankings.

Slovakia's Skydive University team was back in action at the Hurricane Factory in Prague after winning their national indoor championships just a few weeks ago at the Hurricane Factory in Tatralandia, and there were also two visiting 4-way competitors from the Ukraine in Prague.

Olga Bondarchuk and Nataly Derakach joined forces with two female Czech 4-way competitors and formed Empower under the supervision of event coach David Grauwels. NMP PCH HayaBusa's inside center visited the Hurricane Factory to continue his coaching work with the two Czech national teams, HF Flying Circus (4-way Open) and HF Cubs (4-way Junior), and the Empower lineup joined the camp with the 4-way world champion.

Klara Eliasova, a former member of the HF Chicks, came back for the 4-way action with Empower and HF Flying Circus member Martina Vavackova signed up for double duties with both teams.

The HF Cubs were back on the AAA Class leaderboard, even though they will compete in AA at the 4-way Junior competition of the FAI Indoor World Cup in April. They will meet the French Aerokart Ak'demie junior team at Weembi Lille, who have been on the same path between AAA and AA dive pools.

The Aerkoart team recently competed at the French Indoor Nationals 2019 and won the bronze medals in the AAA Class, where they outscored the new French national outdoor team and the national indoor team in 4-way Women.

The HF Cubs placed 2nd behind HF Flying Circus, the Czech national indoor and outdoor champions, and defeated the team that was supposed to compete for the Czech Republic in 4-way Women at the upcoming indoor world meet. The NSL News reported on March 1st that the Czech delegation had to withdraw the 4-way Women team when a recent IPC rule change did not allow 4-way juniors Adela Vesela and Sabina Cioleková to compete in both events with HF Cubs (4-way Junior) and HF Chicks (4-way Women).

Aerokart Ak'demie and HF Cubs will both move down to AA Class competition in April, even though they could probably be Top 10 contenders on the 4-way Open Class leaderboard.

The FAI Indoor World Meet 2019 will be the last 4-way Junior competition for the HF Cubs. Adéla Veselá and Tereza Zívalová, who has already joined the HF Chicks, will be too old for the junior category after this year's world meet, as Karolina Henkova is next year. Sabina Cioleková and Viktorie Nováková still have the whole 2020 season for 4-way Junior competition.

However, Jan Klapka and his 4-way juniors have different plans for the near future. They plan to assign the complete lineup of the HF Flying Rebels as the next Czech national team in 4-way Junior. Karolina Henkova, Sabina Cioleková and Viktorie Nováková will still be available in 4-way Junior and help the next generation of Czech juniors with their own experiences.

The HF Cubs will stay together and probably become the next Czech national team in 4-way Women, even with the three eligible 4-way juniors in the lineup. The IPC rules allow 4-way juniors to choose between AA and AAA competition at world meets and world cups when they are at least 15 years of age.

At the same time, the HF Flying Rebels have almost arrived at the 20-average level in the AA Class, after an impressive progression between 2017 and last week. The Czech future in 4-way Junior seems to be secured...
