Did You Know...

... that SDC RhEvolution XP moves up into the AAA/Advanced Class with reigning champion Greg Oldendick in the 2019 lineup?

Intermediate Class awards at the USPA Nationals 2018
posted Jan 9th, 2019 - The NSL News has followed the progression of SDC RhEvolution XP carefully since the team was formed at the beginning of the 2018 season.

RhEvolution attended all three of the Midwest Skydiving Leaguemeets last year and was obviously well prepared for the final showdown in the AA/Intermediate Class competition of the USPA Nationals 2018. The MWSL team placed 2nd on the Intermediate Class leaderboard with 32 teams, one single point behind the winner, TSC Cadence.

RhEvolution was not eligible for USPA medals and competed officially as a guest team, while the great performance at the national championships was still recognized by USPA during the award ceremony.

The lineup had changed once during the 2018 season when Jason Krumholz joined the team and took the tail slot. Early tail Brad Wallace eventually took the camera slot at the USPA Nationals. SDC Rhythm XP members Andrew Happick and Doug Barron provided the coaching services for the team, and Andrew Happick was also on camera for RhEvolution at the May meet of the Midwest Skydiving League.

SDC RhEvolution XP have made new plans for the 2019 season, which include another personnel change. Point Josh Reinert has to step away from 4-way training and competition this year.

Greg Oldendick is the new team member, and he will take the outside center slot that he was flying for his previous team. The change in the lineup requires a slot switcher within the new front piece.

Original outside center Chris Normandeau moves to the point position to accommodate the new team member.

Greg Oldendick will surely not hold RhEvolution back. He competed at the USPA Nationals too, and won the Advanced Class gold medals with Savage XP and the highest winning average in the history of USPA Advanced Class competition.

It makes only sense for SDC RhEvolution XP so step up now and join the Advanced Class competition this year with a reigning champion in the lineup, even if they don't have to. Team training will begin with a camp in March at Skydive Sebastian.
