posted Dec 7th, 2018 - The 4-way competition at the Weembinamic 2018 followed the same format as in 8-way, even though there were four qualification rounds before two teams were pitched against each other in 2-round duels. The elimination rounds in 8-way began after Round 3.

The different format did not create a similar upset in the 4-way AAA Class event as it did in 8-way, where the Weembi Girls won, even though the Qatar Tigers were on top of the traditional leaderboard after Round 10. Only two French 4-way teams (Bee4 - Les Affranchis) ended up in different finishing positions.

It was still a very interesting and entertaining 4-way competition for other reasons. Five of the eight members of the French national 4-way teams in 4-way Open and 4-way Women attended the event and appeared scrambled in several different lineups. Laurence Herve, Kevin Mansion (Aerodyne Realfly) and Pamela Lissajoux (Aerodyne Weembi) did not compete at Weembi Lille.

Only four of the ten 4-way AAA Class teams actually had a scoring history in the NSL News records and competed with similar than their current lineups. Only one team, Tenanine, came to Lille with the complete current lineup.

The five members of the French national teams all ended up in the first three places on the traditional leaderboard.

The winning lineup consisted of three national A-team competitors. The three guys in the lineup were 4-way Open Class members Charles Rommel and Damien Gouriou, together with B-team member Aurelien Lemaire.

The bride was Clementine Le Bohec who is one of the French reigning 4-way Women world champions, Aerodyne Weembi.

The team name is probably related to the fact that Clementine Le Bohec is literally a bride. NSL-TV recorded the official marriage proposal by NMP PCH HayaBusa's point Dennis Praet at the FAI World Meet 2018 in Australia after landing from Round 10. The video was posted with the update on 12 October 2018.

Clementine Le Bohec had a very busy 4-way competition at Weembinamic. She competed with three different lineups in the AAA Class competition and finished in three of the four teams on the top of the leaderboard. First, she challenged her own team with the three guys as a returning member of the Weembi Legion lineup.

Alessandra De Rango is an original Weembi Legion member and has attended all of the team's five meets since December 2017. Julien Degen has been guiding the team since the French Indoor Nationals this year, and Clementine Le Bohec was in the Legion lineup that competed as a guest team at the Russian Indoor Nationals 2018. Former Sinapsi PD member Livio Piccolo was in the Legion lineup at the Wind Games 2018.

Clementine Le Bohec managed to outscore or tie her winning team with Weembi Legion in four rounds. In fact, Weembi Legion won Rounds 6 and 7 and tied Round 8. The momentum was with her second team. It became a little bit tricky in the finals of Round 9 and 10 when 3guys1bride and Weembi Legion were direct opponents in this final duel for the 1st place.

However, this was still not enough of 4-way competition for the bride. Clementine Le Bohec had also joined the French female indoor B-team. She was a B-team member herself before she was selected for the French national team in 4-way Women. Camille Villanneau was not available for Weembi French Girls, and Clementine Le Bohec filled this slot at Weembinamic, as well.

She did not compete in 8-way, which was probably not a big surprise...
