Did You Know...

... that Arizona Airspeed's Niklas Hemlin had a busy week in Florida?

FSL Kickers versus...
posted Jul 25th, 2018 - Arizona Airspeed member Niklas Hemlin recently spent some time in Florida for a few coaching jobs, and several 4-way competitors took advantage of the great opportunity.

He was already connected to Florida this year, as he filled in for Arizona FM when Ari Perelman was not available for the ten rounds of the World Tunnel League June competition. AZ FM member Jimmy Xu is also team mate of Florida Skydiving League organizer Amer Kassas for the AAA Class lineup of SCZ ZEUS.

Amer Kassas had invited Niklas Hemlin for the coaching projects, and one result of the visit last week were two different lineups of FSL competitors who performed the ten WTL July rounds. Additional other 4-way competitors and skydivers also used the opportunity for 1-1 skills training with Niklas Hemlin.

Amer Kassas and James Hall had Niklas Hemlin in both lineups, while Sebastian Jimenez and Jimmy Xu had their internal battle for the higher scores. Niklas Hemlin was in his outside center slot for the SCZ ZEUS lineup and switched to tail for the FSL Kickers when Sebastian Jimenez was flying in the second lineup. SCZ ZEUS won the duel with the higher scores in the two fastest rounds (4 and 5: 58 - 47) while it was evenly matched in the other eight rounds (126 - 126).

...SCZ ZEUS
Amer Kassas took his unique SCZ ZEUS lineup to the skies, as well, even though the weather was not much in favor of 4-way competition last weekend. The July meet of the Midwest Skydiving League was completely weathered out, and SCZ ZEUS managed to post at least one set of scores from the United States on the combined UK leaderboard.

It was the same SCZ ZEUS lineup that had posted the ten rounds for the WTL indoor competition, and Niklas Hemlin was in the same outside center slot that he has for Arizona Airspeed. Jimmy Xu was in his familiar tail slot, with piece partner Amer Kassas as inside center. James Hall has switched from tail to point after his time with Fast4ward XP.

It was no surprise that this ZEUS lineup improved all previous outdoor results of the team and even kept up with the two British AAA Class teams behind NFTO who finished out of reach on the top.

Niklas Hemlin was not done after the weekend and continued to work with several more participants this Monday at iFLY Tampa. The Florida group will go back to the same place on Friday to perform the Indoor Cloud League sequences of the month, this time without Niklas Hemlin...
