Did You Know...

... that Northwest and Northern California tied last weekend's leaderboard?

2Pairs at an earlier indoor competition
posted Jul 21st, 2018 - British and U.S. Teams are in action again this weekend, while the NSL News review the leaderboard that brought teams together on the July 14 weekend.

Seattle Swift was the only AAA Class team on the combined leaderboard, as the Spaceland-Houston Pre-Nationals 2018 had a separate competition draw for the eight rounds. Dallas 350ish and Seattle Swift were separated by only one point, and the same sequences would have made the AAA Class competition even more exciting.

The two Rookie Class teams were also by themselves in Northern California and did not have competition at other locations last weekend.

The AA Class leaderboard featured teams from three different leagues, and three A Class teams had their mixed leaderboard, as well. The teams in these two categories also completed different numbers of rounds at the different locations; however, the rankings did not change after the adjustments of the leaderboard, even though Epic Thunder finished closer to DasSponge after five rounds.

The ranking order between the teams from the Northwest and Northern California was different on the two mixed leaderboards, and both leagues claimed a 1st place.

JEWL, formerly known as 2Pairs, won the AA Class competition over the second NCSL team 4Tune, both ahead of new NWSL team Broncos.

It was the first outdoor competition for JEWL after four meets of the World Tunnel League in Northern California. 4Tune had attended NCSL outdoor meets throughout the 2017 season and competed at the USPA Nationals 2017.

JEWL members Jessica Lee and Ethan DeLano won USPA silver medals in the AA/Intermediate Class with the Cali4nia Raptors at the same event last year. The 10.3 average with JEWL after six rounds is already in the expected Top 10 range at the national championships.

The order on the A Class leaderboard was reversed between Northwest and Northern California. Waiting on Nuts outscored even NWSL AA Class team Broncos in Round 1 at the team's second outdoor meet this year and won the A Class competition as easily as JEWL in the AA Class.
