posted Jul 27th, 2017 - It's getting closer to the end of July, which means that Indoor Cloud League teams begin to submit their scores and videos for the month. There are a few exceptions here and there, when ICL teams begin to fill the leaderboards earlier. However, there is competition, and teams may not want to give opposing ICL groups the opportunity to quickly schedule a new visit at the home tunnel to improve the scores.

The Czech ICL teams at the Hurricane Factory have now added their numbers to the 14+ leaderboard where Florida's ICL team has been the only one so far. iFLY Sacramento, Brazilian team Harpia and iFLY Tampa have already posted July scores and videos on the 12+ leaderboard.

The Sun Path Products NSL News has explained a serious problem of the Czech 4-way group earlier, which is consistently running out of participants in the Rookie Class category (R) that is closest to the grass roots level.

Jan Klapka, godfather of the 4-way community in the Czech Republic, is recruiting new 4-way juniors all the time. However, the youngsters are progressing quickly and usually have to move up after a short time period. They also need supervision and guidance, which is not always available. Jan Klapka is in trouble whenever his 4-way juniors are not available...

Summer vacation may also interfere with indoor training, as the younger generations have other recreational activities when there is no school, and the parents have their own plans with the flying sons and daughters, as well.

Result of this situation might have been the reason why Jan Klapka could not even submit a score for the R Class sequence. He was lucky to have two senior teams who scored in RR (Elements) and RRR (Mirek Team). He still had no eligible participants for the R Class sequence.

The HF Junior Cubs contributed the 25-pointer for the A Class sequence, as they continue with training for the FAI Indoor World Cup later this year. They finished in 5th place at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2016 and are now aiming at a medal position.

The Czech ICL team had great and challenging competition in the senior categories, where Bad Boys, HF Chicks and HF Flying Circus battled once again for the spots on the ICL leaderboard. The Bad Boys were back in full strength after a break in June and won the two Open Class sequences (AAA/AA). The Czech national 4-way team is focusing on the preparations for the indoor world meet, as well, and HF Flying Circus may compete for the Czech Republic at the upcoming FAI World Cup 2017.
