Did You Know...

... that Thunder ISR will probably aim at the 4th place at the World Challenge 2016?

11th World Challenge for Andy and David Grauwels
posted Feb 29th, 2016 - The Sun Path Products NSL News introduced the pre-registered field of AAA Class teams for the World Challenge 2016 on February 12th.

The number of teams has grown significantly in the meantime, and it is time for an update, beginning with the AAA Class.

NMP PCH Hayabusa, Belgium's reigning indoor and outdoor world champions, are now on top of the SKYLEAGUE.COM power rankings, which are still according to all results in 2015. Hayabusa has not missed a World Challenge since the first event in 2006, and David and

Andy Grauwels will compete in Bedford for the 11th time.

Point Dennis Praet is the only 4-way competitor in the world who has only been standing on the top spot of the World Challenge podium (since 2011), and his newest team mate Jeroen "Bob" Nollet is also undefeated at the World Challenge.

10 - 7 - 7 - 6 - 5 at World Challenge: Thunder ISR
Thunder ISR competed at the World Challenge 2011 for the first time, which is the event where Hayabusa's still standing winning streak began. Thunder's lineup has not changed ever since, and the team has live witnessed their Belgian 8-way team mates winning the World Challenge five consecutive times.

Thunder ISR started in 10th place in 2011 and has climbed up in the World Challenge rankings every year (10 - 7 - 7 - 6 - 5). The 4th place would be next and is a very challenging task for this year's event.

The Bad Boys finished behind Co-Motion at the World Challenge 2015 and are still ranked ahead of the British team due to their later 2015 scores with the complete lineup. Inside Center Jan Lukavec could not make the trip to Bedford last year. Alternate Jaroslav Smitka has to help out again this year, as Outside Center Vaclav Prokes is not available in April. Co-Motion might finish ahead of the Bad Boys again.

InTime and competing: Dirk Venter and Claire King with Jazz Republic
The Czech national 4-way team with alternate could also face serious Czech competition in Bedford. The HF Michal's Chicks consist of two HF Chicks (Eva Vokurková, Jitka Vycpálková) who began challenging the Bad Boys in the AAA Class last year.

Klára Eliášová joined the HF Chicks before the Clash of Champions 2015 where the all-female lineup won the AA Class competition with a 19.4 average. Michal Ármai has joined the team for the 2016 season, which moves the HF Michal's Chicks into the AAA Open Class. The previous HF Chicks lineup competed in 4-way Women at last year's events.

Jazz Republic brings InTime owners and operators Claire King and Dirk Venter back to Bedford, where they tested the independent functionality of their judging system by competing in the same event. It must have worked well, as they signed up again for this year's competition. They will not be judging in Bedford though...
