Did You Know...

... that 12 female 4-way competitors won a total of $20,000 at the Clash of Champions?

AA Class awards at the Clash of Champions
posted Dec 29th, 2015 - The French FLY-IN Girls mentioned in the live NSL Talk after the Clash of Champions 2015 that they enjoy the combined AAA Class leaderboard where they can compare their own performance directly with the all-male and mixed-gender lineups of other teams.

The AA Class competition at the Clash of Champions had unleashed the full girl-power on all other teams in this category and added to the female 4-way power statement that Golden Knights and French FLY-IN Girls left at the Clash of Champions and then at the World Air Games 2015, as well.

The Golden Knights finish the 2015 season in 4th place of the SKYLEAGUE.COM World Outdoor Team Rankings of all AAA Class teams, and the French FLY-IN Girls are in 10th place, if not even better after the World Air Games 2015. The situation is similar at the World Indoor Team Rankings.

The AA Class statement is even more powerful: The three teams in the medal positions are all-female lineups, with no exceptions.

Ak'demie AA Class team with Marin Ferre
The AA Class leaderboard becomes even more interesting with a quick look at the team in 4th place. The AA Class lineup of the Aerokart Ak'demie 4-way junior project finished right behind the three all-female teams from three different countries.

The first "normal" team, Hvezdy from the Czech Republic, had to settle in 5th place. The $20,000 for the first three places was divided up between the 12 female 4-way competitors from Czech Republic (HF Chicks), Dubai (Asaar Ladies) and Poland (Flyspot Chicks).

The extended leaderboard of the AA Class shows that the French juniors did not give up the money without a fight. They tied two highscores for Rounds 2 and 7 and claimed the sole highscore for Round 8. Eventually they ended up only five points behind the 3rd place and $3,000 cash.

From A Class to AA Class in 2015: Flyspot Chicks from Poland
The videos of the French junior team are showing one team member out of uniform and of larger shape. French national coach Marin Ferre is actually on the lighter side himself. However, even he had to wear a larger jump suit when he filled an open slot for a missing Ak'demie 2 member.

The HF Chicks won the AA Class competition after stepping down from the AAA Class for the event. Three team members had finished in 4th place at the 1st FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championships, and the team decided to compete in the AA Class with one new team member.

The situation was almost exactly the same for Dubai's national team in 4-way Women, the Asaar Ladies, who competed a week later in the AAA Class competition of the World Air Games 2015. The Flyspot Chicks from Poland went the other way this year. They had started in the A Class at the World Challenge 2015 and stepped up into the AA Class competition later this year. Their effort was rewarded with the $3,000 for the 3rd place at Inflight Dubai.
