Did You Know...

... that four ICL lineups scored for iFLY Orlando last week?

iFLY Orlando's ICL team last Thursday
posted Nov 11th, 2015 - The November competition of the Indoor Cloud League begins once again with scores and videos from iFLY Orlando.

The Florida team had a good October performance with 126 points and the 2nd place for the month. The 92-point total after last Thursday's event at iFLY Orlando is the starting point for the new leaderboard with new sequences.

The AAA category has the usual 6-point sequence (B,11,N,16) with a slot switcher that affects only one piece this time. The AA 5-point sequence (Q,11,6) could also be drawn for a AAA Class competition, as well as the A Class sequence (B,N,6) for a AA Class meet. The Rookie Class teams could also find their RRR sequence (C,H,E) in an A Class draw. The format allows the ICL teams the opportunity and option to post scores for two neighboring categories. The newest ICL competitors have three random formations to work on in November: Stairstep Diamond (B), Crank (N) and Phalanx (Q), along with the Star (M), which is at the beginning of each RR and R sequence.

AAA Class coach and competitor Bob Byrne was back in action after a longer break to recover from his injured ankle. He posted the first AAA and AA scores for iFLY Orlando this month, together with James Hall, Sebastian Jimenez and Kurt Gaebel.

The other four lineups had their usual internal competition for the highest scores and a spot on the ICL leaderboard in the respective categories. Nick Davis, Michael Rendon, Cathy Luo and Chris Dunbar outscored Bob Byrne, Amer Kassas, Bob Palatka and Sebastian Jimenez in two categories (RRR - RR). However, the same lineup also took on the A Class sequence and left the RR Class spot on the leaderboard for Bob Byrne's lineup.

Nick Davis, Michael Rendon, Cathy Luo and Chris Dunbar are all Rookie Class competitors and learned the basics of Block 6 (Stardian - Stardian) in the 12-foot flying chamber last Thursday night. The first iFLY Orlando score for November is now a 12-pointer in this category.
