Did You Know...

... that the Thunder ISR meet videos come along with scores from the United Kingdom?

Thunder ISR in exit action
posted Jun 22nd, 2015 - NSL-TV follows up on yesterday's Tomscat Trophy story from the Netherlands with the competition videos of Thunder ISR. The SKYLEAGUE.COM audience has once again the opportunity to see the best amateur team in the world in action.

The video clip includes the sequence and performance of Round 5, which denied Thunder ISR the entry to the "4-way Outdoor Elite Club" at this point in time. However, team member Paul Hofstee said that the club membership is on the Thunder list of goals: "We are ready for it..."

In the meantime, the British 4-way teams have added their scores to all four categories on last weekend's leaderboard, and four UK teams competed in the AAA Class. The ranking order between Thunder ISR and Cool Runnings at the Tomscat Trophy and the four UK teams was the same after nine rounds in the Netherlands and six rounds in Netheravon.

10+ AAA Class average: Bodyflight Aero
It was a good competition behind Thunder ISR. Cool Runnings needed a good start and a strong Round 6 to fend off the four AAA Class teams from the United Kingdom. Each of the five teams behind Thunder scored or tied a highscore for a round at least once between each other.

Bodyflight Aero, Funnel Vision and Entropy have been competing with and against each other throughout the 2014 season in the AA Class and had finished in the same ranking order at the British national championships. They moved up into the AAA Class for the 2015 season and had their first internal showdown at the World Challenge 2015. Quasar was formed last year and attended the team's first meet at the Bodyflight Revenge 2014, followed by the World Challenge 2015.

Three of the new AAA Class teams scrambled their finishing order at the World Challenge and again last weekend, while Bodyflight Aero maintained the top position with the team's first 10+ average in the AAA Class.

Rookie Class of 2012 to AAA in 2015: Entropy
Last weekend's competition in Netheravon was the third time this year that Entropy and Funnel Vision met each other after competing at the World Challenge and at the May meet of the UK Skydiving League in Langar. Both teams also have the longest history together.

They competed in the A Class competition of 2013 and moved up into the AA Class for the 2014 season. Entropy had actually launched the team career in the Rookie Class of 2012 before meeting Funnel Vision in May 2013 for the first time.

Funnel Vision was ahead at last year's national championships before Entropy won this year's first duel at the World Challenge and then again at the May meet. Funnel Vision turned the table last weekend and finished four points ahead of Entropy. Quasar ended up between both teams. The next UKSL meet is scheduled for July 18th.
