Did You Know...

... that iFLY Orlando and Hurricane Factory launched the ICL February battle?

New Florida team DeLand Flashpoint
posted Feb 14th, 2015 - The Czech Indoor Cloud League group at the Hurricane Factory in Prague posted their first scores for the February sequences, and the new battle with Florida's iFLY Orlando group has partially turned into a team competition.

The Czech group consists mainly of 4-way teams, while Florida brings together individuals who fly with each other on a regular basis in changing lineups until some of them decide to build their own 4-way teams. The new FSL team DeLand Flashpoint performed the February sequences for iFLY Orlando last Thursday and contributed the 24-pointer for the Rookie RRR Class sequence.

Flashpoint (Alix Raymond, Steve Hubbard, Jim Prochaska, Jairo Garcia) competed with the Czech team Best of Relative (Lubos Pinkava, Jan Habetin, Bara Parikova, Alena Majkowska) who are winning by two points so far. Best of Relative also provided the 23-pointer for the A Class sequence, where a different Florida lineup (James Hall, Sebastian Jimenez, Hal Spence, Kurt Gaebel) matched the Czech score.

Best of Relative and Flashpoint are both AA Class teams. The Czech team attended six meets in the A Class last year and moved up into the AA Class with the beginning of the indoor winter season. They posted a 10.1 average for the 10-round meet last Thursday at the Hurricane Factory, which was the same night when Flashpoint scored for the Indoor Cloud League event at iFLY Orlando.

Flashpoint has neither attended an indoor nor an outdoor competition yet and launches the team's competition career at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2015.

The second team duel took place between two national teams, with the sequences for the AAA (G,9,E,16) and AA (G,9,11) categories. The Sun Path Products NSL News reported earlier that the Golden Knights helped the Florida group to a head start during their spring training camp and a visit at iFLY Orlando.

Bad Boys at the World Challenge 2014
The Bad Boys, Czech national team in the 4-way Open Class, followed up with the Indoor Cloud League AAA and AA Class sequences and could not keep up with the US national team in 4-way Women for now. However, the Bad Boys still have the rest of the month to improve the ICL scores, while the Golden Knights are not planning to go back to iFLY Orlando.

Both teams will also meet each other live at the World Challenge 2015. However, they will be separated again in a different way, as the event in Bedford has two 4-way AAA Class categories in 4-way Open and 4-way Women. The ten sequences in Bedford will still be identical for both categories.

The CZ Ladies, Czech national team in 4-way Women, will compete at the World Challenge, as well, and meet the Golden Knights in the same category. They took on the Indoor Cloud League February sequences and competed last Thursday at the Hurricane Factory. They scored 19 (AAA) and 17 (AA) points, and the Bad Boys ended up on the ICL leaderboard for the Hurricane Factory.
