Did You Know...

... that it is time for the NMP-PCH Hayabusa topping?

Draw boxes: Loaded heavily with slot switchers...
posted Aug 15th, 2013 - NMP-PCH Hayabusa member David Grauwels confirmed on the NSL Facebook page that the 4way footage of Barkli and the French 8way team was eye candy for the Sun Path Products NSL News audience. Now it is about time to put the topping on the candy and enjoy the Hayabusa footage of the competition jumps at the World Cup 2013.

The first three rounds are now available on NSL-TV, and they can be reviewed by clicking on the score for a round. The links to videos of the coming rounds will be added later.

The videos are showing three of the six slot switchers that the competition draw brought to all teams. The complete first half of the meet switches the piece partners if the team does not apply a swing move to get back to the top of the first page. There are only six blocks in the dive pool (3, 5, 10, 12, 16, 17) with this specific challenge for either the front or the rear piece, or sometimes even for both (5 and 17).

Zeljko Tanaskovic in full drawing action
Round 6 brings a short break from the additional brain work, before the sequence of Round 7 includes Block 5 for another double slot switcher. It is very unusual that all six slot switchers are in different sequences in a 10-round draw. Most of the times, at least two of them appear in the same sequence and often neutralize each other.

The chances of having six out of ten rounds with slot switchers and additional memory challenges are almost as little as getting a sequence with five random formations. Judge Zeljko Tanaskovic was responsible for this very special occasion, as he drew the sequences for the World Cup manually out of the box.

The 4way Open Class and 4way Women teams will complete five rounds today, and the 8way and VFS 4way teams will have the Friday morning for themselves.
