Did You Know...

... that all four AA Class teams tied their scores in two rounds at the Tomscat Trophy?

Tough 15-average challenge: Whooops
posted Jun 14th, 2013 - The first scores of the new competition weekend came from the Netherlands where 18 teams are competing at the annual Tomscat Trophy.

The NSL News posted a preview of the event on 25 May 2013, which introduced teams who were already registered at this point in time. The same story mentioned that there were a few benchmarks and challenges to be taken on at the first meet of the 2013 season in the Netherlands.

Whooops, the Dutch national team at the Mondial Dubai 2012, was aiming at the 15.0 average, while Cool Runnings tries to beat the 10-average benchmark at the team's second outdoor competition in the AAA Class.

On track for 10-average benchmark: Cool Runnings
Meet organizer Mike Pennock was concerned with the weather situation when the forecast was just as bad as at other previous meets in Europe this year. However, it turned out very differently, and all teams completed five rounds on Friday.

Cool Runnings is right on track with a 10.6 average at the moment. The sequences of the second half of the meet are not much faster or slower compared to the first five rounds, and Cool Runnings has a good chance to maintain the current scoring level.

It will be much more challenging for Whooops to leave the 15-point average behind with the upcoming sequ3ences. However, Creeps is pushing hard from behind which might help Whooops to pick up the pace. A great competition is also going on in the AA Class where all four teams tied their scores in two rounds. This has probably never happened before in meet history.
