There was only one new team member who the NSL News was not able to introduce, and Jeremie Rollett followed up later with more information. Kevin Mansion was not in one of the official French national B-teams. He trained and competed with Diomeda Veloce Airbus in the last two years and was selected for the 8way project after an 11.4 average with his 4way team at the French Nationals 2012.
He competed in 8way with Espoir Maubeuge at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2013 and then came back to Raeford for the training week with the new French 8way lineup.

National coach Jeremie Rollett and Thomas Perrin Gachadoat then worked and flew with the six selected members during the training week at the end of March. Jeremie Rollett confirmed that he will be an active member for the remainder of the 2013 season. His plan for the new 8way lineup concludes at the World Cup 2013. Then the final lineup of the new French national 8way team will be selected.
It will be a combination of the world champion lineup of Menzelinsk 2010 and silver medalists of Dubai 2012 and the new young 8way competitors. The 2012 lineup will also make 50 training jumps before the World Cup and then compete in Banjaluka, Bosnia-Herzegovina in August.

They have competed together with different lineups over the years, as well, and finished with an impressive 27.0 average without any penalties. It was by far the highest indoor average in a 10-round meet with the complete dive pool that the team has posted, and it was rewarded with the 3rd place, ahead of world class 4way teams such as Paraclete XP4 and XL.
The 3rd place is the highest placing and clearly beats last year's 24.7 average by the same lineup. 8way coach Erwan Pouliquen, who has competed with some of the previous lineups in the past, was helping Gavroches with coaching at the World Challenge 2013. He said that his team are now 4way experts, as well. There is no doubt about that, but some of them still have to win the World Cup in 8way this year and then the gold medals for France in 2014...
