NSL News Coverage of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2024

Did You Know...

... that Gavroches Maubeuge was the only team without any penalties at the World Challenge 2013?

NMP-PCH Hayabusa after Round 10
posted Apr 7th, 2013 - The World Challenge 2013 is over, and the aftermath of the NSL News begins.

The video of the live performances of the Top 10 Open Class teams and the female competition in Round 10 is still to come and will be uploaded as soon as possible. NSL-TV will then follow up with the judging videos.

The NSL News also had the opportunity for a conversation with NMP-PCH Hayabusa right after Round 10 and before the award ceremony.

The NSL Talk video will also be uploaded as soon as possible.

Evolution with Gary Smith
The Belgian team was in good spirits and was not bothered much by giving away the very last round to Evolution. Two point deductions allowed the Canadians to win one round, while Hayabusa posted the sole highscores for all other rounds.

Evolution was only one point behind Hayabusa's highscores in the first three rounds, and then again in Round 8. Round 10 was as much a highlight for the Lemay brothers and Katie Woods as the two rounds at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013 where they outscored Arizona Airspeed.

However, NMP-PCH Hayabusa won the third consecutive World Challenge with a new record average for this event and delivered a disciplined and mostly clean performance. The main topic of the conversation with Hayabusa were the family relationships that both winning teams have. Coincidence or not?

Cleanest team in Bedford: Gavroches Maubeuge
The NSL News aftermath begins with the extended leaderboard that shows the point deductions for the Top 10 teams.

Thunder had to digest the biggest damage of ten points total. It was costly since SportLoto from Russia took advantage of the Thunder penalties and outscored last year's unofficial amateuer world champion for the first time. Thunder still copied the success of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship where they finished ahead of the new SDC Rhythm XP lineup. However, the distance to Evolution was much bigger in Bedford.

There was only one team with a totally clean scoresheet over ten rounds. Gavroches Maubeuge was rewarded with the best placing in the team's history and the first cash that the French team collected for the 3rd place. The NSL News will follow up with ten clean videos and more information from France soon.
