posted: Nov 27th, 2007 The NSL Championship 2007 was actually supposed to be the stage for this year's last and ultimate showdown between Optic Nerve and Teiwaz, two of the longest standing 4-way teams in the skydiving world. The NSL News story on October 29 mentioned that Optic Nerve had shown up in DeLand on Saturday morning of the 4-way competition. However, the weather did not allow any jumping that day, the forecast for Sunday was terrible, and Optic Nerve had given up any hope. posted: Nov 26th, 2007 The NSL News story on November 12 had provided insights of Perris Fury member Christy Frikken after her return from a tunnel camp at Bodyflight Bedford. Her team had just completed the visit at the NSL Championship 2007 before traveling to Great Britain. The tunnel camp included coaching by and tunnel training for Perris Fury. It also continued with the cooperation of the Perris team with Bodyflight Storm, the new British national 4-way champion and national team in the Open Class. posted: Nov 12th, 2007 Perris Fury's recent trip to Florida and the NSL Championship 2007 was only one stop of a longer journey. All team members traveled to Great Britain a few days after the meet weekend in DeLand. A windtunnel camp in Bedford was next on the agenda. Perris Fury held a short training camp at Bodyflight Bedford, working with three British teams and a couple of individuals, as Christy Frikken reported after the trip. (more)

posted: Nov 7th, 2007 It has been a long, exciting and successful year for Airspeed Odyssey. The new USPA champion 2007 and US national 4-way team for 2008 is on top of the 4-way world at the end of the 2007 season in many ways. One of Odyssey's many top records is the attendance at 4-way competitions this year. Andy Delk (Inside Center), Craig Girard (Outside Center), Mark Kirkby (Tail), Eliana Rodriguez (Point) and Will Pesek (Camera) competed at a total of seven different meets, including two windtunnel competitions. No other AAA/Open Class team that competed at the USPA Nationals 2007 competed that often.... (more)

posted: Nov 5th, 2007 The videos of the first round of the NSL Championship 2007 have now been uploaded and feature the eight teams that made the trip to DeLand at the end of October. Teiwaz Tempest was the only team in the AAA Class competition. The last 4-way event of the 2007 season was supposed to include the annual showdown between Optic Nerve and Teiwaz. Unfortunately, the weather was not promising for Sunday after no jumping on Saturday at all, and Optic Nerve decided to take the Sunday off. News Article Did you know that Teenager Ellie McCoy won $2,000 at 4-way competition?
posted: Nov 3rd, 2007 Ellie McCoy caught the attention of the NSL News the first time when her 4-way team of teenager girls and younger trained in the SkyVenture Colorado windtunnel. The NSL News story on May 1 introduced the team, which was under the wings of Gary and Emma Beyer. The story included links to videos of the flying teenagers. The NSL News story on June 27 followed up on the exciting earlier news and explained how original team member Ellie McCoy continued to train with Gary and Emma Beyer and Paul Gatling, a former Arizona Divewerkz member. This pure windtunnel team was called "Aeon". (more)
