Aftermath prepared themselves for the USPA Nationals at the August meet of the new Southern California Skydiving League, which was enough to win the USPA gold medals with a new Advanced Class record average, as the NSL News pointed out on 3 October 2007. They succeeded Mass Defiance, the first Advanced Class champion who continued by moving up into the 4-way Open Class competition. The Mass Defiance example might have been encouraging for Arizona Divewerkz, as they also continued with the same lineup who won the Advanced Class medals in 2006. In fact, three team members (Blane Boynton, Cindy Nieves, Annaliese Peterson) even added another year to their 4-way Open Class experiences and finished with a new team record average in 2008. Arizona Diverwerkz launched their... (more)
