Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP is the only top team with clean score sheets after Round 4? posted: Dec 2nd, 2011 Four rounds are complete on both Formation Skydiving events at the 3rd Dubai Championship 2011, and the last round must have brought back some hope for NMP-PCH Hayabusa. Aerodyne Aerokart had won each round so far, before and after penalties, as the extended leaderboard shows.
NSL News correspondent Max Thiele saw the jump live on DZ-TV in Dubai and was impressed: "Hayabusa really had an incredible Round 4. It was a perfect jump, probably one of the best meet jumps for the team in a long time."

Did you know that the sequences of Round 1 and Round 8 will tell a lot in Dubai? posted: Dec 1st, 2011 The competition draw of the 3rd Dubai Championship 2011 has been posted, thanks again to the quick and reliable news service by Qatar Falcons and Paratec-Saar member Max Thiele. In fact, the 4way teams have even completed Round 1, and the judging is in progress.
He said that Perris Fury completed 29 points in working time and lost one point for a 28-pointer as the official score. The complete scores for Round 1 will be posted very soon.
Round 1 has probably the fastest sequence of the 8-round competition draw and will separate the top teams from the rest of the field right from the start.... (more)
Did you know that the competition draw is postponed until tomorrow in Dubai? posted: Nov 30th, 2011 Back to the 3rd Dubai Championship 2011 where Wednesday was the official training day, as NSL News correspondent Max Thiele reported earlier.
First, strong winds and low clouds did not allow much training for the 4way teams. The clouds disappeared eventually, however, the stronger winds kept most of the teams on the ground. Craig Girard used the opportunity to recruit a high-profile group of experienced competitors who could handle the weather conditions and practice for the 40way celebration jump that the NSL News mentioned earlier.

Did you know that the Golden Knights did not give SDC Furies XP and Supersonic the slightest chance? posted: Nov 24th, 2011 The AAA/Open Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2011 included the female competition between three teams who tried to qualify as the US national team in this category for the 2012 season.
It was difficult to predict whether the SDC Furies XP or the Supersonic pickup team would be able to give the Golden Knights female lineup a run for the money or not. The US Army team had posted a 15.3 average at the World Cup 2011. Not bad, but the Furies had also finished with a 15.5 average at the June meet of the Midwest Skydiving Lreague and then added a 15.8 average in September. In fact, the Furies... (more)
Did you know that the ultimate goal is next for SDC Rhythm XP? posted: Nov 23rd, 2011 The Round 9 and 10 videos of the Top 5 teams at the USPA Nationals 2011 wrap up this part of the NSL News aftermath and feature the most dramatic part of the race for medals in the AAA/Open Class competition.
Arizona Airspeed added two more sole highscores to the championship account and walked away with a 25-point distance after all ten rounds and the gold medals. The battle for the silver and bronze medals was still wide open after Round 8. SDC Rhythm XP was in 2nd place after the first round on the second meet day, two points ahead of the Golden Knights and five points up on Perris Fury.

Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP has scheduled the next tryout? posted: Nov 18th, 2011 The NSL-TV coverage of the USPA Nationals 2011 continues with the Top 5 videos of Rounds 7 and 8, plus the extended leaderboard with the point deductions.
Round 7 was the last round on the first day of the competition, and Round 8 opened the second day. Arizona Airspeed mastered the 3-block sequence of Round 7 like a champion with a clean 21-pointer and won another round. Perris Fury finished the day with a devastating 4-point loss to both the Golden Knights Gold and SDC Rhythm XP after having just caught up with Rhythm in Round 6.
