One of the topics and team names that keeps coming back is Mass Defiance.
The 4way team from New England (Ben Liston, Jim Rees, John Silva, Brian Stephens, with Scuba" Steve Feldman on camera) posted a 19.3 average at the USPA Nationals 2007 that has been challenged several times and year by year by other "amateur teams". The record average is still standing... (more)
Did you know that the Super Sequence has to wait for being drawn at the World Challenge? posted: Feb 17th, 2012 The NSL News reported on 27 January 2012 that the teams, competitors and audience of the World Challenge 2012 would have the opportunity to decide whether the famous Super Sequence of the annual indoor competition at Bodyflight Bedford should be continued or not.
The NSL Poll of the Super Sequence ran parallel with the question whether the IPC judging rules should include slower motion reviews in the future. Did you know that the NSL News had additional questions after the recent SDC Rhythm XP article? posted: Feb 15th, 2012 The NSL News posted a copy of the recent Blue Skies Mag article about SDC Rhythm XP and team projects in general yesterday and had covered the tryouts for a new Center Inside live at Paraclete XP in December. Former Perris Fury member Chris Farina was selected for the open slot, and the team has launched the 2012 season with the new lineup.
The Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2012 was the first competition for SDC Rhythm XP with Chris Farina, and the NSL News was also live at the event site in Raeford when Rhythm posted the first scores this year.

Did you know that Blue Skies Mag featured "With Fresh Air and Rhythm into the Future" this month? posted: Feb 14th, 2012 It is once again that time of the month shortly after Blue Skies Mag has published the newest issue. The NSL News contributed to the February 2012 edition with a new "Turning Points" story.
SDC Rhythm XP is the main topic this time, embedded in reflections of team projects in general. Skydiving and especially skydiving competition have a big element of individualism. The same counts for most other sports on the competitive level. However, the other sports have established long term clubs, leagues and team projects more than skydiving has so far. Did you know that the NSL News brings live coverage of XL at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships this weekend? posted: Jan 31st, 2012 The first two competitions of the 2012 season are indoor events. Teams in the Czech Republic launched the new competition season at the Skydive Arena in Prague on January 5th, and the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2012 is the next one this weekend, before Skydive Arizona will host the first outdoor competition this year, the Valentine's Meet 2012.
French teams will be next with the annual Aerokart Indoor Championship, followed by the Shamrock Showdown 2012 and the World Challenge 2012. It's an early and intensive start of the 2012 season.

Did you know that Satori launches the 2012 season with the Shamrock Showdown/World Challenge combination? posted: Jan 30th, 2012 The NSL News has to switch back to the preview of the Shamrock Showdown 2012 after great news came in from the Uited Kingdom.
Julia Foxwell confirmed for Satori that her team has finalized the travel plans to Florida in March. This adds another world class 4way team to the field of top teams. Satori now represents the 11th country at this year's Shamrock, which makes it more and more like a World Meet at the beginning of the 2012 season.
