News Article Did you know that GKXP defends the 16way title successfully?
posted: Nov 1st, 2012 The joined effort of the two Golden Knights lineups, plus Kirk Verner, John D'Annunzio and Andy Honigbaum, works better in the 16way competition of the USPA Nationals 2012 than the Arizona Airspeed 16way lineup for the annual reunion. GKXP has won every single round so far and is up by 14 points after Round 4. No other team is close to the two top teams, and Deguello has to work for the bronze medal position. The GKXP lineup of 2011 won by only two points. This year's 16way competition was over after Round 2 where the Golden Knights/Paraclete XP combination added six point to the 2-point... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Vibe members are not new to 4way competition at all?
posted: Oct 13th, 2012 The NSL News is going back to the October meet of the Southern California Skydiving League in Elsinore. The last update included news of Perris Wicked, and the story mentioned that another team caught the attention of the NSL News. Vibe finished with a 16.2 average after six rounds in the AAA Class, and it was not the first time that the team competed this year. The same lineup had also posted a 13.9 average at the SCSL August meet in Perris. Christine Freiherr, Jane McGuire, Don Burnette and Mikhail Markin are not new to 4way competition at all and just put this lineup together for the 1012... (more)
News Article Did you know that Power Play begins with 4way?
posted: Jul 25th, 2012 Not only the Karp Cup of the MidAtlantic Skydiving League was weathered out last weekend. Golden Knight Laura Dickmeyer also reported that the Carolina Skydiving League fell victim to the weather situation on the east coast of the United States. The Southern California Skydiving League has not been much luckier during the complete first half of the 2012 season. Neither Skydive Elsinore nor Skydive Perris were able to pull off a successful meet so far. However, two more events are scheduled, and Dan BC expects the next one in Perris to bring back the west coast 4way magic. He recently announced... (more)
News Article Did you know that Ben Liston joined the coaching staff for Tuesday's FSL Tunnel Kicker at iFLY Orlando?
posted: Jun 7th, 2012 The Florida Skydiving League held the next FSL Tunnel Kicker at iFLY Orlando on Tuesday this week. The timing was almost perfect since the FSL June meet is coming up this weekend, and several participants could use the opportunity to get some extra training for the competition. In fact, the coaches at the FSL June Kicker were working and flying with five different 4way lineups on Tuesday evening. Four lineups consisted of FSL competitors who came with as many of their team mates as were available. The fifth lineup were the player coaches who had their own 4way action when extra time was available. The... (more)
News Article Did you know that Joey Jones once again competes with Black Majick and anchors the NSL News?
posted: Apr 5th, 2012 Paul Mayer, host of the World Challenge 2012, has the same entertaining surprise for the audience that he offered last year in the Rookie Class competition. He has once again a Black Majick lineup that performs the belly flying sequences on the back. The only difference is the fact that his team has moved up into the A Class. The NSL Reality TV camera captured the team during their preparations for a training session and then filmed the Black Majick in the flying chamber. Preparing the jumps on the creepers is not easy as those are built to be used by belly flyers. However, the Black Majick... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders have caught up with the original lineup of 2010?
posted: Apr 3rd, 2012 The NSL News story on 14 March 2012 was a preview of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 and included a live NSL Talk with the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders. The French team was preparing for the competition in DeLand. It was not a very challenging task for reigning world champion Amélie Tirman and her three new team mates (Laurence Herve, Perrine Sanchez, Stéphanie Texier) plus videographer Rémy Grandcler, to win the meet in the female 4way category, as the competition from Norway (Polaris), USA (Golden Knights) and Canada (Crimson Fox) was not strong enough to get close to the French...
