News Article Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP's new lineup is complete?
posted: Jan 11th, 2013 It was somehow shocking when the NSL News reported on 9 November 2012 that Chris Farina and Thiago Gomes were both leaving SDC Rhythm XP after a very successful 2012 season. Rhythm had finally taken the 2nd place in the USA and had also moved closer and closer to Arizona Airspeed every year. Rhythm or Canada's national team Evolution were also arguably the best 4way teams in the world behind Airspeed, NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Aerodyne Aerokart, the three medal winners at the Mondial Dubai 2012. The move by Chris Farina and Thiago Gomes seemed to make sense only when Airspeed announced both of them... (more)
News Article Did you know that Chris Farina is Arizona Airspeed's new Point?
posted: Dec 28th, 2012 It was not a very well hidden secret that Arizona Airspeed, new 4way world champion after the Mondial Dubai 2012, was recruiting a new team member. Observers of a little tryout session at SkyVenture Arizona after the USPA Nationals 2012 knew first that something was going on. From then on, there were several rumors and stories that circulated in the wordwide 4way community. Fact was only that Josh Hall would be the leaving Airspeed member. The NSL News had announced after the USPA Nationals and before the Mondial, on 19 November 2012, that SDC Rhythm XP was recruiting, as well, after Thiago... (more)
News Article Did you know that the new Evolution engine is running full steam in Singapore?
posted: Dec 14th, 2012 The NSL News mentioned on 24 November 2012 that Arizona Airspeed's trip to Asia would not be over after the Mondial Dubai 2012. The newest leaderboard shows the just recetly crowned 4way world champion once again on the top, this time at the indoor competition in Singapore. Airspeed was not the only team traveling from the United Arab Emirates even further southeast. Evolution from Canada and Australia's national team Rotor Out are also competing in Singapore, together with a surprise visitor from the USA, SDC Rhythm XP. Airspeed is far ahead after five of eight rounds and will now be rewarded... (more)
News Article Did you know that DNR re-wrote the US "amateur" story at the USPA Nationals 2012?
posted: Nov 11th, 2012 The NSL News goes back to the USPA Nationals 2012 and another highlight of this year's competition at Skydive Arizona. The unofficial US amateur record average has been a topic ever since Mass Defiance posted the famous 19.3 average at the USPA Nationals 2007. It is history now, after DNR (James "Malibu" Klinge, Ben Liston, Brian Stephens, Steve Johnson, with Pat Walker on camera) shattered it a few weeks ago in Eloy with a 20.7 average. Several other teams have tried in the past to improve the old Mass Defiance record average, including team members James "Malibu" Klinge and Steve Johnson... (more)
News Article Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP is recruiting?
posted: Nov 9th, 2012 SDC Rhythm XP's team story is a long one and has been covered by the NSL News numerous times and from the very beginning. The young and new team project has made headlines year after year and moved from the grassroots to the 4way top level as if there were no limitations and obstacles. But there were obstacles, plenty of them, and the latest Rhythm news break puts another one in the way of the 4way shooting star to the top of the leaderboard. Rhythm founders JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz just posted a good-by note to Thiago Gomes and Chris Farina who are leaving the team: "Rhythm wishes Thiago... (more)
News Article Did you know that Vibe finished two points short of USPA's Advanced Class record average?
posted: Nov 7th, 2012 The 4way Advanced Class leaderboard at the USPA Nationals 2012 was an interesting mixture of different kind of teams. Vibe, the winning guest team, is a combination of weekend amateurs who invested a lot of time and money to get to the top of the leaderboard. Both Dubai Asaar lineups (Red and Gold - 2nd and 5th) are young teams and have unlimited training resources at their home in the United Arabian Emirates, host of the Mondial 2012. The Air Force teams (Paradigm and Legacy - 3rd and 4th) are in a very similar situation as the Dubai teams, as they don't have to spend their own money for... (more)
