Did you know that Germany's national team Paratec-Saar attends its first indoor meet at the World Challenge? posted: Feb 20th, 2014 The field of teams for the World Challenge 2014 has grown significantly since the last Sun Path Products NSL News update on 6 February 2014.
25 teams were registered by then, and 55 teams have officially signed up at this point in time, and with six more weeks to go. There are still ten days left to take advantage of the reduced registration fee, which will go up from £300 to £350 on March 1st.
78 teams competed in the traditional 4way categories last year, and the latest record number is once again in jeopardy. France has finally registered the two national teams in 4way Open (VoltR) and... (more)
Did you know that Thomas Hughes and Thiago Gomes connected seriously in 2008? posted: Jan 19th, 2014 The new Arizona Airspeed lineup had a very challenging task ahead when training began for the 2013 season. NMP-PCH Hayabusa was far ahead when the Belgian team came back with the same lineup. Hayabusa was literally on the same scoring and performance level at the Mondial Dubai 2012.
Thomas Hughes and Mark Kirkby had invited Thiago Gomes and Chris Farina to fill the two open slots and then had to bring the new lineup back to the gold medal level of December 2012 for the starting point. It was the same starting point where Hayabusa took off from at the beginning of the 2013 season.

Did you know that the Paraclete XP Championships story goes back to the 2007 season? posted: Jan 4th, 2014 It will still take a little while until the first scores of the 2014 season will be posted on SKYLEAGUE.COM. Indoor Cloud League scores don't show automatically on the front page, even if any of the groups provided videos and numbers for January earlier than usual.
Indoor competition scores will still be the first ones posted, as the winter season is increasingly filled with wind tunnel meets. The Czech Republic Skydiving League has the next competition at the Sportsflight Skydive Arena scheduled for January 16, which will be followed by the annual event at SkyVenture New Hampshire.

Did you know that the USPA Nationals 2013 will feature several medal and internal battles? posted: Sep 4th, 2013 The USPA Nationals 2013 are just around the corner, and it is time for the first preview.
It's not only Arizona Airspeed having to defend the national 4way title, which has been in Eloy consecutively since 2007. The US teams are also trying to fend off the challenging UK teams who try to win the bragging rights for the biggest 4way outdoor competition in the world. It will probably be easier for Airspeed to win the next set of 4way gold medals than for the US teams to beat this year's UK number of 75 teams at the national championships.

Did you know that Paraclete XP4 finished in a money slot for the first time? posted: Apr 15th, 2013 There was not much competition for the 1st and the 2nd place at the World Challenge 2013, which was not really expected much. However, there was a fierce battle for the 3rd place throughout the whole meet between Gavroches Maubeuge, Paraclete XP4 and XL.
The French team took the 3rd place from SportLoto in Round 2 and protected it successfully to the end. It was a lot of work, and the French 8way world champions barely saved a 1-point advantage over the finish line. Mostly the penalties that XP4 (4) and XL (8) collected allowed Gavroches Maubeuge to place 3rd and win the £2,000 cash.

Did you know that Niklas Hemlin and Josh Hall left Airspeed with a clean outdoor record? posted: Mar 6th, 2013 The upcoming Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013 features much more than only the first showdown this year between the two US top contenders, Arizona Airspeed and SDC Rhythm XP with their final lineups.
The winner of this duel has very good chances to win the USPA Nationals 2013 and qualify as the US national team for the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014, as the NSL News explained yesterday.
However, there is more on stake for two of the Airspeed members. Mark Kirkby and Thomas Hughes have never been defeated yet at an outdoor competition since they got together in the 2011... (more)
