posted: Sep 24th, 2016 The aftermath of the FAI Mondial 2016 continues with the extended AAA Class leaderboard that the Sun Path Products NSL News has been creating whenever different 4-way events apply the same competition draw. This time, the teams in 4-way Open and 4-way Women applied once again the same competition draw at the FAI Mondial 2016, which allows the audience to compare the scores directly. The two strongest teams in 4-way Women, Golden Knights and French Girls, finished in 5th (France) and 7th (U.S.A.) at the previous World Championship of Formation Skydiving in Prostejov 2014. posted: Jun 15th, 2016 Most of the recent news related to Arizona Airspeed go back to a fact that became public knowledge after the USPA Nationals 2015 and was announced by the Sun Path Products NSL News on December 21st, 2015. Thomas Hughes, Airspeed's Outside Center since 2011, steps back from the active lineup after this year's national championships. This Airspeed situation required the logical consequence of the next Airspeed recruiting campaign for a new member. posted: Jun 9th, 2016 The recent Arizona Airspeed update was not only good news for the U.S. 4-way champion of the past nine years, who will most likely add the 10th consecutive USPA title to their collection later this year and after the Mondial 2016. It will be the 6th USPA 4-way gold medal for Thomas Hughes, who will be forwarding his Outside Center slot to successor Ari Perelman after the USPA Nationals 2016. Only Mark Kirkby has collected more USPA 4-way gold medals - 16 of them since Arizona Airspeed's first 4-way title in 1994. posted: Jun 6th, 2016 It is nothing new that Thomas Hughes, Arizona Airspeed member between 2011 and 2016, plans to step back from active training and competition at the end of this year. The Sun Path Products NSL News posted the news on December 21st, after he had announced his plans at the Clash of Champions 2015. It is also normal Airspeed procedure that the team negotiates the new lineups early and announces new members long before they start training and competing. Did you know that Savolo is on the way to a Top 10 spot at the Mondial 2016?
posted: May 1st, 2016 Savolo defended the South African national 4-way championship title successfully last week and will represent the country at the Mondial 2016 later this year. It will be the second World Championship of Formation Skydiving for Savolo, who took Voodoo's spot for South Africa after the Mondial Dubai 2012. Savolo is carefully preparing for the next attempt of challenging the Top 10 teams at a world championship and at least making the first cut. Did you know that the French national teams in 4-way Women had great success after earlier Shamrock Showdowns?
posted: Mar 15th, 2016 The preparations for the Shamrock Showdown 2016 are in full swing at Skydive DeLand. The French FLY-IN Girls are one of the teams who arrived early for a short training camp before the meet. The reigning French world champions in 4-way Women are also staying another week after the competition for additional training. The French FLY-IN Girls scheduled the Shamrock Showdown 2016 in the team calendar to meet the Golden Knights for the second time at an outdoor competition with their new lineup.
