News Article Did you know that the USPA Nationals feature re-matches of 2019 in 4-way Open?
posted: Oct 14th, 2025 SDC Rhetirement Rhedux and XP Angels, who are also coming back from last year's USPA Nationals, have their own stories, as well. The NSL News has covered the road of XP Angels from the USPA Nationals 2024 to the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 comprehensively, and the road does not end there. The U.S. team in 4-way Women enjoyed the international meet atmosphere at Skydive Teuge in the Netherlands and have the outdoor world championship as the next goal. Rhetirement Rhedux was a new team name on last year's USPA leaderboard, and the team members in 2024 have the international meet experiences in... (more)
News Article Did you know that Aethers Lille posted the team record average under the radar?
posted: Oct 2nd, 2025 The dominating French performance of Aethers Lille at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 was somehow almost taken for granted by teams, audience and media. The situation on the world's top level in horizontal 4-way competition reminds somehow on the time when Arizona Airspeed's previous lineup (Niklas Hemlin, Christopher Kuhlmann, Mikhail Markine, Joey Marshall) dominated between 2022 and 2024. The distance to the team in 2nd place at Skydive Teuge, the Golden Knights, was still almost as large as it was two years earlier at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 in Norway, where Arizona Airspeed won by... News Article Did you know that the Golden Knights are in a good position after the outdoor world cup?
posted: Sep 26th, 2025 The 24.6 average of the Golden Knights at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 was the highest meet average of the current lineup, as the NSL News mentioned a few times during the aftermath. Nick Birkner, Mike Connors, Jeshua Stahler and Mitch Stockenberg have been training and competing together since 2022, with Skyler Romberg on camera since 2024. The performance at Skydive Teuge still has even more meaning than the team's new record number. The previously highest 10-round average with the same lineup was the 22.9 at the Shamrock Showdown 2024, which was still standing a year later after this year's... (more)
News Article Did you know that Gary Smith commented the completed Airspeed recruiting campaign?
posted: Nov 18th, 2024 The NSL News coverage of the Arizona Airspeed topic continued with new NSL Live Talk. Gary Smith himself is a 2-time world champion with DeLand Majik (2004) and DeLand Fire (2006) and has arguably become the most successful coach in the history of the sport. His current coaching job for Qatar's Formation Skydiving delegation requires him to be on top of everything that is happening in the world of Formation Skydiving competition. He has been following the history of Arizona Airspeed lineups since they were launched with the original one in 1994. In fact, Gary Smith's own teams were opponents... (more)

posted: Dec 22nd, 2023 The NSL News goes back in time until 1998, the year after the Florida Skydiving League initiated the start of the National Skydiving League. Several short articles and paragraphs of events in 1998 were recovered from other archives and copied into the NSL News database at SKYLEAGUE.COM. The currently oldest NSL News update covered 4-way activities in Florida and preparations of other new leagues joining the NSL Network. Two of the early NSL News updates on 19 December 1998 reported the important athletic role that 4-way teams from Florida played in U.S. competition. One result of the popular... (more)

posted: Oct 24th, 2023 Christy Frikken, who has been managing the Southern California Skydiving League since the beginning of the year, recently announced the event schedule for the 2024 season. The NSL News reported on February 5th that the former Perris Fury and SDC Rhythm XP member would continue the league affairs when her former Perris Fury team mate and Airspeed member Josh Hall stepped back at the end of the 2022 season.
