posted: Jun 27th, 2023 The NSL Power Rankings in 4-way Open of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 in Voss, Norway, needed a few adjustments, after more information became available. 18 teams were listed on the 4-way Open Class leaderboard when the previous NSL Power Rankings were posted on June 22, and the number has gone up to 22 at this point in time. Three more Dutch teams have joined national 4-way Open Class team Out Of The Blue, and Italy will be represented this time, as well. Did you know that German teams may keep reaching out for FAI medal positions?
posted: Jun 25th, 2023 Meltemi Oceanside Illertissen was the German 4-way team who won the AAA Class competition at the Paranodon Cup and on the combined leaderboard. They were not facing very strong opposition and won each of the ten rounds at least by two points. However, winning the event was not the main purpose for the German national outdoor team in 4-way Women. The new lineup needed competition practice and experiences with new team member Franziska Wiesler before traveling to Voss in Norway for the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023. Did you know that German 4-way teams won all four categories last weekend?
posted: Jun 24th, 2023 The majority of the teams who created the combined leaderboard last weekend competed at the Paranodon Cup in Illertissen. Ten German teams and Air-W from Switzerland attended the annual 4-way competition. The German home teams did not only dominate the combined leaderboard in numbers of participation. They also had the winning teams in each of the four categories. They did not have international opponents in the A Class, while each of the other three categories featured teams from either the United States (Northern California) or from the Czech Republic. posted: Jun 22nd, 2023 The first preview of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 with the NSL Power Rankings in 4-way Open was showing a leaderboard with the first eight teams that were confirmed for the NSL News at the beginning of the month. It was mainly related to the world's Top 4 teams who will get together for their next showdown, this time in Voss, Norway. Nothing has changed and will change until they start the outdoor world cup with Round 1 and allow a new evaluation of the current situation after Round 10 at the end of August. Did you know that the Northern California Skydiving League had a successful comeback?
posted: Jun 21st, 2023 The NSL News announced on February 15th that the Northern California Skydiving League will have a comeback this year. Lori Connor had launched the league in 2014 and was rewarded for her impressive efforts with the Skydiver of the Year award, as the NSL News reported on 24 February 2015. She continued the league until the corona virus crisis brought her efforts in Northern California to an end in September 2019. Did you know that SkyWalkers Junior completed their first outdoor competition?
posted: Jun 19th, 2023 The NSL News reported on May 26th that Jan Klapka's dream of turning his 4-way junior indoor competitors into skydivers who jump from planes and become the next generation of Czech 4-way competitors has come true. He introduced the Skywalkers Junior to the NSL News, who are a combination of the HF Flying Rebels and the HF Chameleons. Filip Lukavec, Antonin Ondracek and Martin Stransky completed their AFF training, joined forces with Kristian Vlk and launched the beginning of their 4-way outdoor competition career as soon as this year's outdoor season began.
