posted: Sep 1st, 2009 Today's NSL Talk with Joey Jones and Gary Smith is now available. The interview took place at the Airtec tent in the middle of the DZ activities when both coaches were done with their work. Joey Jones commented the situation of his teams after three rounds. Hayabusa Defence is in 2nd place, still in striking distance for the 1st place. However, the pressure is on, as France has a 5-point lead. He also commented the situation of the unofficial "Scandinavian Championship". Sweden's Evolution, Finland's Pro Team and Norway's Nexus are tied in 14th place at the moment. News Article Did you know that Germany and Russia battle for the silver medal position in 8-way?
posted: Sep 1st, 2009 The first 8-way scores are now on the leaderboard, as well. The French 8-way team, Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge, right away created the distance to the rest of the field in Round 1 that was expected. The NSL News met the team out in the landing area after landing from Round 1. New team captain Clement Martin St. Leon, who also competes with three 8-way team mates for Aerokart Pamiers Maubeuge in 4-way, explained that his team is preparing for the World Meet in 2010. The World Cup 2009 is the first competition for the new lineup. (more)

posted: Sep 1st, 2009 The 4-way teams are done for today. The weather conditions were quite windy when the female 4-way teams finished off the 4-way event for today. The 8-way teams had to wait for a little while before they started their competition day. The French national 4-way team posted another highscore in Round 3 and has won each round so far. Hayabusa coach Joey Jones said that the meet is far from over. He expects his team to catch up when the faster rounds of the meet are coming. News Article Did you know that the girls are cleaner than the boys at the World Cup?
posted: Sep 1st, 2009 The games have begun, Round 1 has been completed at the FAI World Cup 2009. No big surprises in the Open Class, even though Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge has already a 2-point lead over Hayabusa Defence. The reason is a 2-point deduction for the Belgian team, which came in the same situation for an incomplete formation and the following incorrect inter. The French national team lost a point, as well, and is ahead by two points after all damage. Black Cat had a clean round and is tied with Hayabusa. posted: Sep 1st, 2009 The first update on Tuesday, the first competition day at the FAI World Cup 2009, is coming again from California. Event judge Steve Miller provided additional information of the last SCSL meet in 2009, and John Hamilton sent a photo of the Founding Fathers. Also, the missing scores of the Carolina Skydiving League's August meet have been added to the leaderboard. (more)
News Article Did you know that the new update from the Czech Republic includes very fast Hayabusa videos?
posted: Aug 31st, 2009 The NSL News mentioned earlier today that Hayabusa Defence recently won the CISM Championships 2009. It was already the third consecutive victory for the Belgian national team in this military 4-way competition. Hayabusa won the 4th CISM Military World Games in India in 2007 after an exciting 1-point battle with the Golden Knights with a 31.5 average. The second set of CISM gold medals went to Belgium after last year's 30.5 average victory in Switzerland. It was the first Hayabusa competition with new team member Weadong So who replaced Luc Verstrepen at the end of the 2008 season. This year's... (more)
