The Dubai Championship 2011 was like a mini world meet and brought together three of the four best Open Class teams in 2010. NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Aerodyne Aerokart used the opportunity to test their new lineups, while Arizona Airspeed was on a farewell vacation.
The next outdoor competition is the Valentine's Meet 2011, which features the new Airspeed lineup and once again the French national team. The results in Eloy will show how close the gold and silver medalists at the World Championship... (more)
Did you know that Alpha Armada's 20.0 in Dubai is the highest US average by a female lineup? posted: Jan 27th, 2011 There are actually only two teams in the female 4-way category that have ever scored a higher meet average than 20.0 at an outdoor competition. The French national team Aerokart Deep Blue did it three times. The first time was the 20.4 average at the World Cup 2009 in Prostejov after a 10-round meet. Sophie Deremaux, Bérangère Duplouy, Françoise Simons-Hamouchi and Amélie Tirman followed up with a 20.1 average after ten rounds at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010.

Did you know that Olivier Henaff competes with with Dennis Praet for the best Dubai video? posted: Jan 25th, 2011 NMP-PCH Hayabusa's Dennis Praet is not the only world class competitor who is also a talented video producer at the same time. The NSL News had featured his clip of the Hayabusa experience at the Dubai Championship 2011 with the story on 13 January 2011.
Aerodyne Aerokart's videographer Olivier Henaff, reigning 4-way world champion, recently posted a video that features his own team in Dubai, as well. Did you know that Aerodyne Aerokart will challenge the new Airspeed lineup at the Valentine's Meet 2011? posted: Jan 24th, 2011 The NSL News has added another upcoming event to the 2011 calendar. The annual Valentine's Meet 2011 is scheduled for February 12 - 13 at Skydive Arizona in Eloy.
The Valentine's Meet used to be the main event at the beginning of each competition season and has lost momentum in the past years. The participation last year was on the lowest level in the history of the event. Only four teams traveled to Arizona in February 2010. Did you know that the winning part is only a by-product for Kirk Verner? posted: Jan 22nd, 2011 The NSL News wraps up the Paraclete XP4 coverage with the video of a new NSL Talk, which was recorded at the end of the XP4 day in Raeford. The complete lineup was sitting in the lobby of the windtunnel, and Paraclete owner Tim D'Annunzio introduced the team to open the show.
This job as a host for the NSL Talk came unexpected and unannounced for him, and he took the surprising part like a pro. The fact that he was able to take the anchor slot without hesitation shows that he had experiences in this area.
