News Article Did you know that the CISM scores allow a wild guess for the World Cup?
posted: Jul 31st, 2011 The rainiest summer in Germany, ever since archiving of weather data was started in 1945, continues to keep the skydivers on the ground in Merseburg. It's time to break camp in this part of Germany and move to sunnier areas. Saarlouis, hosting site of the World Cup 2011, seems to be a much better place for skydiving these days... It is getting dangerously close to the start of the competition on Tuesday morning, and the teams that have arrived are busy getting their warmup jumps out of the way. The NSL News will begin with the live coverage from Saarlouis at the end of the day or tomorrow morning. In... (more)

News Article Did you know that Germany will erase memories of bad weather?
posted: Jul 30th, 2011 Good news and bad news from the NSL News trip to Germany. The weather in Berlin has not improved at all and interferes with the Go Jump 5-year anniversary summer boogie with the Pink Skyvan. The Berlin weather has also caught up with the area southwest of Germany's capital city, where the NSL Remscheid Cup was supposed to be held in Merseburg this weekend, together with the Antonov Boogie. It was apparently pure luck that the Antonov was able to make the two lifts yesterday evening. The expectations are very low in Merseburg for any jumps today. However, the skydivers and visitors who made it... (more)

Bushwackers and Dynamic Attempt could not present their jumps to the judges and used the time for training instead, It was still a special meet for the all-female team of the Mideast Skydiving League. News Article Did you know that meet videos from Finland feature the Pro Team's new lineup?
posted: Jul 28th, 2011 Finland's Pro Team finished off the 2009 season at the World Cup in Prostejov, Czech Republic. Norway was the other nation with a team from Scandinavia in 2009. This year's World Cup in Saarlouis, Germany, does not feature a Scandinavian race at all. Bardagi from Sweden is the only Scandinavian team in the 4-way Open Class, and Norway's team Polaris competes in the female 4-way category. The NSL News recently reported that the Pro Team won Finland's national championship with a new lineup. Finland's unofficial Scandinavian champion of 2010 did not have any plans beyond the July competition,... (more)
