The weather situation has not changed much, and the 8-way teams are still waiting for their first opportunity to start the competition with Round 1.
The winning 4-way and 8-way Open Class teams at the national championships in the United States usually don't have to consider competing for a Top 10 position or medals. The only question is which set of FAI medals will be brought back from the international events. Did you know that the Airbus 4-way lineup defended the German title successfully? posted: Sep 11th, 2022 Bad weather has kept the 8-way teams on the ground at the USPA Nationals 2022. It is an opportunity for the NSL News to catch up with other events that have taken place in the meantime.
The German Outdoor Nationals took place right after the conclusion of the Dutch Outdoor Nationals and before the start of the USPA Nationals. The total of 22 teams completed all ten scheduled rounds in three categories (AAA - AA - RRR).

Did you know that Arizona Airspeed still has a 31-point lead over NMP PCH HayaBusa? posted: Sep 11th, 2022 The Belgian 4-way teams have completed their ten rounds of the national outdoor championships, including NMP PCH HayaBusa. Six teams performed the same ten AAA sequences that the nine U.S. teams and the three Qatar teams used for their 4-way Open Class competition at Skydive Chicago. Six additional teams competed in Belgium, four in the A Class and two in the Rookie Class. The NSL News will follow up soon with more details and competition videos from Belgium.

Did you know that Arizona Airspeed and Qatar Tigers have a Belgian opponent at the USPA Nationals? posted: Sep 10th, 2022 The 4-way competition of the USPA Nationals 2022 was completed in two days with a total of 460 competition rounds for the 48 teams in the four different categories (Open - Advanced - Intermediate - Beginner).
Airspeed did not only win the U.S. 4-way title and defended it successfully without any serious opposition, and with a 54-point distance to the team in the USPA silver medal position (Hammertime).
They also left the visiting Qatar Tigers in the dust, who will be their opponent at the upcoming FAI Outdoor World Meet 2022. The difference between the two national teams for their respective... (more)
Did you know that the Dutch Outdoor Nationals featured a very special award ceremony? posted: Sep 7th, 2022 The aftermath of the Dutch Outdoor Nationals 2022 continues with a closer look at two teams who have not been in the spotlight yet, at and after meets they attended. Joulz ended up at the bottom of the Dutch AAA Class leaderboard, while Spare Rib Masters had no opposition in the AA Class and won the national title.
They missed each other on the same leaderboard, even though Spare Rib Masters moved up from A Class competition at their only previous meet to AA at last week's national outdoor championships. The team's first competition was the 8-round indoor event at the ISR Grand Prix 2019.

Did you know that the complete Qatar delegation is scheduled to compete at the USPA Nationals? posted: Sep 6th, 2022 The story of Qatar's Formation Skydiving competition project began in 2011, when the country's first delegation attended the USPA Nationals at Skydive Arizona. The Qatar Knights competed in 8-way Intermediate, Qatar Tigers and Qatar Falcons in 4-way Advanced.
Different Qatar delegations have followed up ever since with regular visits at USPA Nationals where they can collect more than enough competition experiences.
