Did you know that Perris Airkix is the first all-female British 4-way champion? posted: Aug 22nd, 2006 The 2006 season was a good one for the British team Perris Airkix, and the last two weeks turned a good season into a dream season. The NSL News had mentioned in earlier stories that Airkix was expected to possibly offer the French Women's team at least a little bit competition for the world championship title in the female category.

Did you know that the next scores from Great Britain and Austria are already posted? posted: Aug 19th, 2006 The World Meet 2006 in Germany and the Malevsky Cup 2006 in Russia have just been concluded, and the NSL News looks back at two very busy weeks in Europe. There was a lot of positive feedback from the audience, and the NSL News appreciates the fact that the event coverage seems to provide enough information and visuals.
However, there is not much of a break, the 2006 season of 4-way competition is far from being over. Several events are scheduled for this weekend, and the first scores are already posted. Austria already completed the 6-round competition, and Monkey Circus won the meet. (more)
Did you know that the complete story of the world record round ten includes four videos? posted: Aug 17th, 2006 The story of round ten and the new 4-way world record is long and exciting. It begins in 2002 when France scored 42 points at the Coupe de France de Vol Relatif in Pujaut, France, and took the record away from Airpeed. The 42-pointer stood for a long time. It took four years until it would be improved by two points.
Other teams had already scored higher before yesterday, as DeLand Fire and Spa Hayabusa this year, or tied the standing world record, as Sky Panthers Barkli at the Russian Nationals 2006. The higher scores did not count since the events were not sanctioned by the IPC rules, and a... (more)
Did you know that two Russian teams captured the new world record simultaneously? posted: Aug 16th, 2006 Michail Kuznetsov is the team captain, manager and sponsor of the Russian team Sky Panthers Barkli. His team won this year's Russian Nationals at the end of June and qualified as the national team for the World Meet 2006 in Germany. Sky Panthers Barkli was formed for the 2006 season.
With his 2006 team mates Leonid Kazinetz, Vladimir Pavlenko, Andrey Seliverstov, Oleg Shalomikhin and Sergej Shenin, Michail Kuznetsov posted a new record average with 24.1 at the Russian Nationals, which included a 42-pointer in round two. Did you know that France won another round over Russia? posted: Aug 15th, 2006 Round six is complete, and the teams move on the way they have looked like before. It was probably the best round for Fastrax by matching the Russian score for the first time and beating France the second time. Fastrax gains confidence by the round and might also be ready for an impressive number in round ten.
The three top positions are taken and don't seem to bring any significant changes. There is probably too much distance between the three top contenders already. However, the extremely fast sequence of round ten has the potential to stir up even the top positions. (more)
Did you know that NSL-TV presents the World Meet 2006 award ceremony for 4-way? posted: Aug 15th, 2006 The NSL News was actually planning to follow up later on the World Meet 2006 with more stories and information. The live action at the Malevsky Cup 2006 in Russia does not allow enough time to cover much of other events. However, there were requests to follow up on the promise of live videos of the award ceremony in Germany.
