posted: Jan 14th, 2024 The recent NSL News coverage of the participation at FAI World Championships of Formation Skydiving since 1985 credited the four leading countries (United States, France, Belgium, Netherlands) with a flawless history in 4-way Open. Their national teams of 2020/2021 (SDC Rhythm XP, France 4-way Open, NMP PCH HayaBusa, Out Of The Blue) had even attended the FAI Tanay Mondial in August 2021, after cancellation and rescheduling of the event, due to the corona virus crisis. News Article Did you know that Jan Klapka's Czech teams turned the ICL table in December?
posted: Jan 13th, 2024 The competition for the 2023 top spot of the Indoor Cloud League between the Czech team at the Hurricane Factory in Prague and Kyle Hermberg's iFLY Dallas team in Texas is over and complete. The NSL News covered the exciting finish of the year with a few updates, last time on January 7th. The iFLY Dallas team was still seven points ahead of Jan Klapka's 4-way juniors and seniors at the Hurricane Factory by then, even though the point difference between the two teams had become smaller and smaller in the months towards the end of the year. News Article Did you know that the indoor showdown between HF Cubs and Skywalkers Junior had to be postponed?
posted: Jan 11th, 2024 The third meet of the Czech indoor winter season featured the two currently strongest 4-way teams, Skywalkers Junior and HF Chameleons, back with their complete lineups and without double duties. Result was a new record average for the new 4-way seniors of the Skywalkers Junior. The reigning Czech national indoor and outdoor champions are slowly and consistently approaching the scoring level of the previously best Czech 4-way teams, HF Flying Circus and HF Cubs. News Article Did you know that there are only two 4-way competitors with three FAI gold medals?
posted: Jan 10th, 2024 The recent NSL News medal count in 4-way Open Class competition featured the most successful world champions in the event since 1985. The sole leader on the list of gold medalists, Mark Kirkby, won five world championship titles (1995 - 1997 - 2001 - 2008 - 2012) within a time period of 17 years, as the NSL News pointed out on 12 January 2023. The same profile story of Dennis Praet mentioned the two French (Eric Fradet, Philippe Schorno) and two Belgian (Andy Grauwels, Dennis Praet) 4-way world champions who are tied in 2nd place with four gold medals. News Article Did you know that the first preview leaderboard of the SVNH Tunnel Fest features promising competition?
posted: Jan 9th, 2024 The first NSL News preview of the SkyVenture New Hampshire Tunnel Fest 2024 on January 6th was connected to the 20-year anniversary of Mass Defiance, 4-way Advanced Class champion of the USPA Nationals 2005. The story pointed out that the members of the championship lineup of 2005 (Ben Liston, Jim Rees, John Silva, Brian Stephens, Steve Feldman on camera) have returned regularly to the annual indoor event since it was created. News Article Did you know that the iFLY Dallas lead was down to seven points (1204 - 1195) at the end of November?
posted: Jan 7th, 2024 The NSL News pointed out on January 3rd that Hurricane Factory and iFLY Dallas were heading towards a new Indoor Cloud League showdown. There was a 9-point difference between them (1204 - 1195) at the end of October after ten months of the special monthly indoor competition. It became even closer after the next six sequences of November, when the group of Czech 4-way teams reduced the difference by two more points. There is an advantage of seven points left for the iFLY Dallas team that Kyle Hermberg and his Indoor Cloud League team have to carry over the finish line with the last six sequences... (more)
