Did you know that NFTO's new lineup is on a different mission? posted: Jun 17th, 2023 The NSL News previews of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 included the first NSL Power Rankings for the competition in 4-way Women. NFTO, the British outdoor world champions at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2022, were set in 3rd place, the same position where the same lineup finished at the FAI Indoor World Championship half a year later.
NFTO had the top spot in the NSL Power Rankings before the indoor competition in Slovakia, and the 3rd place finish could be considered an upset, even though the French and the U.S. delegations both arrived with stronger lineups of their national teams in... (more)
Did you know that 4-way and 8-way double duties continue for Jeana Billings? posted: Jun 14th, 2023 The return of XPG4 member Jeana Billings to the U.S. national team in 4-way Women brings back the topic of 4-way and 8-way double duties that the NSL News has covered for many years. Jeana Billings is still a member of Paraclete XP's new 8-way team, XPGK8, with reigning 8-way world champions in the lineup.
The topic of double duties has mostly been related to the situation at FAI World Championships and World Cups, where the best teams in the world are trying to win medals. Did you know that German, Czech and U.S. 4-way teams may create a shared leaderboard this weekend? posted: Jun 13th, 2023 The upcoming meet weekend will be bringing together teams from three different countries on the same leaderboards, if the weather cooperates everywhere. The annual Paranodon Cup in Illertissen, Germany, takes place at the same time when Jan Klapka has scheduled the first outdoor meet for the Czech teams.
Lori Connor offers the teams in Northern California the comeback event for 4-way teams in her region at the same time, as well. Her indoor events as preparations for the outdoor season were well attended, as the NSL News reported on May 5th.

Did you know that the Zhills CitiZens could be back in medal contention at the USPA Nationals? posted: Jun 10th, 2023 The 4-way Beginner Class, which is identical with the A Class of the National Skydiving League, was added to the format of the USPA National Championship for the first time at the 2021 event. Air Force Academy team Zorry won after the six scheduled rounds, Anion Flux XP won the new set of USPA silver medals. Air Force team Fury and CSC Constellation needed an extra round to break their tie for the bronze medals.

Did you know that the 4-way Women lineup situation for Norway is very different? posted: Jun 9th, 2023 The preliminary NSL Power Rankings in the 4-way Open Class competition at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 were showing the same four teams on the top of the leaderboard who competed for the same three spots at the last three major events, and the national teams in 4-way Women are creating the same situation.
Great Britain (NFTO), France (Nephtys), United States (XPG4) won the three sets of medals at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2022, and Germany (Meltemi Oceanside) finished in 4th place. The same four countries have registered their national teams for the event in Voss, Norway.

Did you know that two Great Lakes 4-way teams joined the British Rookie Class leaderboard? posted: Jun 7th, 2023 The Rookie Class actually won last weekend's competition on the combined leaderboard with a total of five teams. The comeback event of the Great Lakes Skydiving League took place at the same time when the British 4-way teams competed in Langar.
The NSL News had announced the comeback of one of the earliest NSL 4-way leagues in the United States with the story on January 16th, and Cleveland Skydiving Center became the host of the first competition this year.
