Did you know that Centerline XP aims at Advanced Class medals this year? posted: Aug 26th, 2008 Some new scores have been added, which are going back in time. The Carolina Skydiving League held another indoor competition at the Paraclete XP tunnel in Raeford on the July 26 weekend and used that weekend's competition draw of the NSL Network. The scores appear on a separate leaderboard, not together with the outdoor scores of the same weekend. The NSL News has avoided mixing up indoor and outdoor scores since the conditions are much too different.

Did you know that Skyservice and Fast Arrows defended their titles successfully? posted: Aug 25th, 2008 The Czech Republic, host of next year's FAI World Cup, concluded the 2008 season last weekend with the national championship. The Czech 2008 season was opened with a tunnel competition at Bodyflight Bedford in April, three meets of the regular season followed in May, June and July leading into the national championship.
The defending Czech 4-way champion of 2007, Skyservice (Jirí Jirman, Jan Lukavec, Štepán Tuma, Zbynek Živný and Petr Brož on camera), won the title once again with an impressive 14.6 average. This stands for a new Czech record average, as league director Jan Klapka reported.

Did you know that Bodyflight Storm fended off the Satori challenge at the UK Nationals 2008? posted: Aug 24th, 2008 It took only one day until the scores from Russia were already replaced by scores from the United Kingdom.
The national championship was on the UK agenda, and the participation confirmed once again that the United Kingdom is slowly becoming a powerhouse of Formation Skydiving competition.
UK Teams have already dominated the world wide 4-way competition in the female category for quite a while. Bodyflight Storm continued the tradition this year with the gold medals at the World Meet 2008. (more)
Did you know that Black Cat's 22.1 average came with a different lineup? posted: Aug 23rd, 2008 The most current scores on the NSL leaderboard came from Russia. They will soon be replaced by new results of this weekend's events. However, Black Cat's 22.1 average after ten rounds and the scores of several other Russian teams are well worth a closer look.
Black Cat's performance at the Russian Cup 2008 has a special aspect for two reasons. First of all, the team is constantly challenging the Sky Panthers for the top spot in Russian 4-way competition, and the Sky Panthers just competed at the World Meet 2008 in Maubeuge.

Did you know that teams from Florida swept last weekend's leaderboard? posted: Aug 22nd, 2008 The 4-way Formation Skydiving world moves and changes quickly. The World Meet 2008 is over, even though the NSL News coverage will still continue for a while with reviews and event related stories. Other meets have already taken the place on the front page and on the leaderboard.
The latest scores from Russia will be evaluated soon, hopefully before the upcoming nine meets this weekend will take the attention of the NSL News. The national championships of the United Kingdom, France, Netherlands and Czech Republic are on the meet agenda, plus several additional events in Europe and the USA. (more)
Did you know that the French 8-way team answered NSL News questions right after winning in Maubeuge? posted: Aug 21st, 2008 Last not least, the NSL News interviewed the complete lineup of the French 8-way team shortly after the judges had finished their job. The 8-way competition was the last event to be judged at the World Meet 2008. It took a little while until the old and new 8-way world champions were able to get through the crowds of excited French fans.
French national coach Jerome David helped the NSL News to gather the team members at the French headquarters in the tent village. The NSL News had already interviewed a few team members in the past. However, it was the first time that the complete 8-way team... (more)
