The recent wet conditions may have left parts of England underwater, but the sun shone over Hibaldstow on Saturday 7th July, as 24 teams gathered to compete in the latest UK Grand Prix event.
AAA Class teams made a showing for the first time with four teams in the running. Four AA Class teams and six Rookie Class teams had registered, as well, but the most competitive category remained the A Class with ten teams going against each other.
The forecast had not been brilliant, so the high turnout was a good indication of how popular 4-way remains over here. Hibaldstow is also... (more)
Did you know that Round 9 of the Malevsky Cup 2007 is now on NSL-TV? posted: Jul 9th, 2007 It is time to go back to the Malevsky Cup 2007 now. Round 9 has been uploaded and can be viewed on the NSL-TV page or through the links on the icons beside the scores on the leaderboard of the event. The videos of Round 8 have been added to the NSL-TV archive and can still be viewed on the special NSL-TV page of the event. (more)
Did you know that last weekend's Grand Prix event was the last test before the UK Nationals 2007? posted: Jul 9th, 2007 The scores of the Malevsky Cup 2007 on the front page have already been replaced by new scores from Great Britain. However, the NSL News will re-visit the event in Russia later today with Round 9 on NSL-TV.
The 4-way Grand Prix in Great Britain saw great participation once again. 24 teams competed in Hibaldstow last weekend and completed six rounds. The competition draw was slower this time, but the scores from the British teams were still impressive, as usual.
It was the first Grand Prix event of the 2007 season where AAA Class teams joined the 4-way competition in Great Britain. Team Elan... (more)
Did you know that Germany and Canada joined the elite club of 20.0 average teams? posted: Jul 8th, 2007 The NSL News coverage of the Malevsky Cup 2007 is not over yet. Rounds nine and ten will still be added on NSL-TV, and the live interview with Airspeed Odyssey in Russia is also in the works. In the meantime, the NSL News goes back to the meet weekend on June 30.
There were still a few missing scores from Canada that had to be added to the leaderboard. It was the meet weekend whereafter the 4-way community could welcome two more teams into the elite club of 20-point average performances.

Did you know that Airspeed Odyssey finished with a new world record average of 26.0? posted: Jul 5th, 2007 Rounds eight and nine of the Malevsky Cup 2007 were completed easily in the morning. Airspeed Odyssey continued with a similar performance in Round 8 as it was seen in the previous two rounds. Team Fastrax was able to keep up and tied the 23-pointer as the highscore for the round. Black Cat won by four points over Sky Panthers and made the internal Russian competition more interesting. (more)
