News Article Did you know that Amanda Lampton's Indoor Cloud League group in Texas posted a new iFLY Dallas record total?
posted: Feb 3rd, 2015 Videos and scores from Texas (iFLY Dallas) and Northern California (iFLY SF Bay) were the latest updates for the Indoor Cloud League sequences of January. Nobody could get even close to the Czech teams last month, who posted a new ICL record total with 189 points. However, both US and iFLY groups managed to steal at least one of the highscores. Amanda Lampton's Texas group at iFLY Dallas first beat the previously posted 27-pointer by Czech Rookie Class team Flying Circus by a single point. Dallas 350 members Scott Levy and Lucas King guided Roch Tofil and Debbie Swenson as player coaches... (more)
News Article Did you know that iFLY Seattle's recent Indoor Cloud League event produced a new NWSL team for the 2015 season?
posted: Jan 31st, 2015 It took only a day after Florida's Indoor Cloud League update until iFLY Seattle's answer came from the Northwest Skydiving League group. Deb Correia reported that Team Seattle held a skills camp one week prior to the Indoor Cloud League event to work on individual skills and focus on some of the random formations and blocks that would be seen in the duel. Six participants signed up and learned a lot. She said that many of the Indoor Cloud League competitors have only been flying at those events: "They don't get much time to work on their own skills in a lower-stress environment. This is... (more)
News Article Did you know that Florida at iFLY Orlando could not keep up with the Hurricane Factory?
posted: Jan 30th, 2015 The Florida group of the Indoor Cloud League had a late start into the new 2015 season. 19 participants and coaches met on Thursday night at iFLY Orlando to take on the six sequences for the month of January. The Hurricane Factory had posted the first scores of the 2015 season on 17 January 2015 and launched the new year with a record total. It was a difficult task to challenge the Czech scores, and the Florida group was not able to match any of the earlier results. The consistent training of the Czech teams, with the same lineups over a longer period of time, show results in many ways, compared... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Hurricane Factory posted a new Indoor Cloud League record total?
posted: Jan 17th, 2015 The total of 175 points was the highest result so far in the young history of the Indoor Cloud League. Jan Klapka's Czech group of 4-way teams put together this record number in March 2014 at the Hurricane Factory in Prague. The record total was strongly supported by the 42-pointer that Rookie Class team HF Chicks contributed for the RR Class sequence (M-K-F). The HF Chicks then competed a few weeks later at the World Challenge 2014 and won the Rookie Class with a 33.0 average for the team's first ten indoor rounds at a competition. The HF Chicks are now competing in the AAA Class a year later... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Hurricane Factory won the 2014 season by 13 points after 72 sequences?
posted: Jan 4th, 2015 The new six sequences for the January competition of the Indoor Cloud League have been posted, and it is time to wrap up the December competition by honoring the best teams and performances of the month. The December leaderboard is actually not complete yet, as iFLY Dallas still has a few videos of last month's Indoor Cloud League event that will be added later. However, it will be too late to make it to the "Best Of December" video. The Bad Boys brought in once again the highscores for the AAA and AA Class sequences at the Hurricane Factory. However, SkyVenture Montreal's 4astrophe lineup... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Indoor Cloud League competition for December heated up at the end?
posted: Jan 2nd, 2015 The Indoor Cloud League competition for December is coming to its end with momentum. Hurricane Factory (Czech Republic) and iFLY Orlando (Florida Skydiving League) have been sitting on their totals for a while, and nothing will change on the top of the leaderboard. iFLY Seattle (Northwest Skydiving League) and iFLY SF Bay (Northern California Skydiving League) submitted videos and scores at the very end of the month. Only the scores from iFLY Dallas are still missing. iFLY SF Bay's Rookie AA Class lineup (Coaches Don Burnette and Julius Frank with Michelle Hart and Kiran Shivaram) claimed... (more)
