News Article Did you know that the Colorado Skydiving League has a new leader?
posted: Mar 4th, 2006 The Colorado Skydiving League is back for the 2006 season with a new management and additional energy. Travis Roth continues the great work that Brian Vande Krol has done for the league throughout the 2005 season. The new league director explained that Brian Vande Krol has a very busy year ahead of him, including coaching in Colorado's new SkyVenture wind tunnel. The upcoming workload forced him to ask Travis Roth to continue with the CSL work. Travis Roth has picked up the CSL ball with a lot of motivation and energy. News Article Did you know that Colorado teams competed in Scrambles and the Rookie Class last weekend?
posted: Sep 18th, 2005 The Caged Animals attended the team's third meet of the COSL 2005 season in the Rookie Class, while two line-ups were formed for the COSL 4-way Scrambles. The COSL Scrambles use a different competition draw and are thereforelisted in a separate ranking. (more)
News Article Did you know that the Colorado league's Air Force teams peaked in Perris last week?
posted: Sep 13th, 2005 The NSL News missed one meet update of the Colorado Skydiving League. The scores of the two COSL teams that competed on the August 20 - 21 playoffs weekend were posted. However, COSL Director Brian Vande Krol had provided additional information of the meet, which has now been added to the league's homepage. The same two teams that competed on the NSL Playoffs 2005 weekend in Colorado traveled to Perris, California, shortly afterwards and competed in the AA/Intermediate Class of the USPA Nationals 2005. News Article Did you know that four AA Class teams competed in Colorado last weekend?
posted: Jul 13th, 2005 Colorado Skydiving League Director Brian Vande Krol provided scores and the meet story of last weekend's competition, while the NSL News was on the return trip from Russia. Four teams! We had four teams at the Colorado Skydiving League AA Class meet! All four teams got six rounds done, and a good time was had by all. Mile Hi provided us with a Skydive Arizona Otter, Tessie did a terrific job manifesting, and Suzie, the pilot from Skydive Arizona gave us great spots all day long. News Article Did you know that the Air Force dominated at the second AA Class meet in Colorado?
posted: Jun 15th, 2005 Morning came early Saturday, arriving at about the same time as the sun in the eastern sky. Although there were clouds Saturday morning, none of them were over the front range of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. The landing area looked as if it were about a mile high. Thus was the scene for the second installment of the AA Class meets for the Colorado Skydiving League. The meet was again held at Mile Hi Skydiving Center. The meet had been postponed for a week to take advantage of the Skydive Arizona Skyvan that was scheduled to be on hand for a boogie, instead of using the KingAir that normally... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Air Force teams seem to be back in full action?
posted: May 12th, 2005 All scores of last weekend's events have now been posted. Competitions in Europe dominated the 4-way activities, with one event in Denmark and another one in Finland. Only the Colorado Skydiving League represented the NSL with its Scrambles and the AA Class competition at Mile-Hi Skydiving. The two Scandinavian countries launched the 2005 season much more successful this year. Finland had hardly any activities at this time of the year in 2004. One AAA Class team and one A Class team attended the meet in July 2004, before the August 2004 event in Finland attracted a total of ten teams in two... (more)
