posted May 21st, 2011 - Coincidence brings together team mates of the 2010 season in two different lineups this weekend. The Florida Skydiving League visits Skydive Miami in Homestead, while the Mideast Skydiving League launches its 2011 season at Start Skydiving at the same time.

Jane McGuire trained and competed with Tenacity last year, an all-female lineup of the Mideast Skydiving League at Start Skydiving. Tenacity attended two MESL meets in 2010 and then took the 5th place of 31 AA/Intermediate Class teams at the USPA Nationals 2010 with a 10.3. average.

Tenacity continues this year, and Tail Joan Esson has also volunteered to manage the MESL meets of the 2011 season. Her team needed a new Center Outside since Jane McGuire did not come back for Tenacity. She travels to South Florida once per month with a new lineup, together with Phil Peggs. Her trip to Skydive Miami this weekend coincides with the two meets in Florida and Mideast, which will bring Tenacity 2011 and her new lineup together on the same leaderboard.

Teiwaz veteran Robert Chromy is the player coach for this lineup, and Point Pam Manos has a Teiwaz membership number, as well. It didn't take too long until this lineup had a name, Teiwaz South, and two new members will be added to the Teiwaz lineup.

Robert Chromy is actually only coaching the team. Trevor Cedar has the Center Inside slot. He has to work at Skydive Miami this weekend and was not available for team training. However, it was not busy enough early in the morning, and he was at least able to fill a slot for the Miami Dropouts before Rich Richmond took back his Center Outside position.

The videos show the Miami Dropouts with Trevor Cedar in the Point slot and Teiwaz South with Center Inside Robert Chromy in Round 1. Teiwaz South started with a 9-pointer, all scores from Skydive Miami and Start Skydiving will be posted as soon as possible.
