Did You Know...

... that Shamrock Showdown aftermath begins with videos of Round 1?

Impressive performance: Aerokart Deep Blue
posted Mar 22nd, 2010 - The review of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010 begins with the videos of Round 1. The NSL News features the Top 10 teams of the AAA Class competition. The videos of other teams will be shown with related stories to come.

The scores of Round 1 put at least the Top 3 teams already in the positions where they would end up after ten rounds. Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge, the French national 4-way team, posted the highscore of the round and took the early lead with the 21-pointer.

Paraclete XP4 and Genesis both outscored Aerokart Deep Blue in Round 1 by one point. However, the French national team in the female 4-way category had a very impressive 10-round performance and left both teams behind at the end.

Judging area at the Shamrock Showdown
Only the teams, competitors and observers at the competition site had actually access to the score sheets, which provide the penalty information. The NSL News will post the point deductions round by round with the according stories.

NMP-PCH Hayabusa actually tied the French 21-pointer in Round 1 but lost a point in the judging room. It was the only point deduction for any of the Top 10 teams. The rest of the field suffered some penalties though: Voluntas and Carolina Turbo XP lost two points each, Golden Knights Gold, Speedy Kids, Friday 13 and Kaizen lost one point each.

DeLand Dunamis completed the highest number of points for Round 1 in the A Class competition but lost three points due to penalties. AweZomeness from Skydive City also lost a point, and DeLand 5 had a 1-point lead after the first round.
