posted Nov 7th, 2026 - The NSL News reported on October 10th that Jan Klapka, Indoor Cloud League organizer at the Hurricane Factory in Prague, Czech Republic, had been having difficulties recruiting 4-way teams and lineups to provide competitive scores for the monthly events this year.

Jan Klapka created the revolutionary 4-way junior program at the Hurricane Factory years ago, which eventually produced world-class competitors in the small European country. The results of his efforts included 4-way Junior world champions, as well as young 4-way Open and 4-way Women teams and competitors who challenged senior teams from the world's leading formation skydiving countries. They first made their mark at indoor events and have recently expanded their success to outdoor 4-way competition. Skywalkers Junior became a Top 10 team in 4-way Open Class at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2026 and could have climbed even higher in the rankings with more outdoor training and better resources.

However, Skywalkers Most's focus on outdoor training and competition created a shortage of high and competitive AAA/AA scores at the Hurricane Factory this year. Other Czech teams and competitors had to fill the gap left by the absence of the youngest and strongest 4-way Open Class team in Czech history. At the same time, not enough new 4-way juniors were ready to demonstrate their talent in the Rookie Class categories.

Skywalkers Most at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2026

Eventually, Kyle Hermberg's Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Dallas began to pull away at the top of the annual leaderboard, holding a 59-point lead over the Hurricane Factory (1027–968) at the end of September. The iFLY Dallas team is the defending champion from 2025, and it now seems almost impossible for Jan Klapka to catch up in the remaining two months of the year.

Jan Klapka still has two 4-way junior teams scoring for his ICL team, while his own team covers the AA and A Class sequences. The M Team seniors and the two junior teams, FOX and Fenix, have developed their own internal competition, with FOX winning the AAA Class by two points in October. All three teams performed the AA/A Class sequences, where the M Team came out on top. Fenix are also still eligible to compete in two of the Rookie Class sequences (RRR/RR), adding another 34 ICL points to the Czech total for October.

Last but not least, Jan Klapka also recruited a new 4-way senior lineup for the Rookie Class sequences. Mostecká Ctyrka started by submitting scores in two of the three categories, and Jan Klapka finally had a complete set of six videos and scores for October. The total of 87 points will probably not be enough to win the October competition, but it gives the Czech ICL team a new starting point.
