For Roy Janssen and brothers David and Andy Grauwels, it had been the culmination of nearly a decade of pursuing their dream alongside different teammates and videographers. Their journey even included committing to military careers after the FAI World Championship 2006, where they finished in 6th place with original team member and inside center Sven Ibens.
Roy Janssen did not continue after winning his FAI World Championship gold medal, and HayaBusa needed a new tail. Their options were limited, as they could only recruit a replacement from the Belgian military. Original HayaBusa members Roy Janssen, David Grauwels and Andy Grauwels had already begun connecting with potential new team members in 2010. They first worked with Dennis Praet and later with Jeroen "Bob"Nollet, who was training and competing with HayaBusa Beta, the team's farm squad at the time.

Three more years passed before he made his first military parachute jump. However, he quickly caught the attention of the original HayaBusa members and became the official alternate in 2010. Even then, he had to remain patient, waiting another four years before a position became
available.
The greatest challenge came when Roy Janssen unexpectedly stepped away after HayaBusa reached its peak by winning the world championship in Prostejov in 2014. Roy Janssen, David Grauwels and Andy Grauwels had already demonstrated how successfully they could integrate a new team member when they promoted Dennis Praet from alternate to the point slot and came within reach of their first FAI World Championship gold medal in Dubai 2012.

Dennis Praet is now the team captain, while Jeroen "Bob" Nollet has turned into the heart and soul of HayaBusa in a similar way as team founder Sven Ibens. He did not only have the necessary patience and persistence
when he was waiting for an open HayaBusa slot. It is also a part of his relaxed and humble personality structure.
Dennis Praet and Jeroen "Bob" Nollet both have shown their patience and persistence by bringing up new members Neal Willems and Ray Lodens to the world's 4-way top speed, while former team mate David Grauwels is watching and recording the progression from the camera perspective. Jeroen "Bob" Nollet enjoys to be on the top of the world, whether it is in a jump plane, or when he is running his Ultra Marathons in the mountains. He will climb up onto the FAI podium again this year, and it could be once again the top of the 4-way world.
