posted Feb 26th, 2026 - The Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2026 also served as the U.S. qualification event for the FAI Indoor World Championship in March 2027, as previously reported by NSL News on February 21st. The Golden Knights claimed victory in the 4-way Open Class and earned the qualification spot for next year’s indoor world championship.

The situation was different for the teams aiming to represent the United States in 4-way Women next year. They did not have a separate leaderboard, as their scores were included in the 4-way Open Class standings. Under U.S. regulations, all national teams — both indoor and outdoor — must compete in 4-way Open in order to be eligible for nomination as a national team.

The leaderboard after Round 6 highlighted the four all-female lineups, even though XP4 was not pursuing qualification in 4-way Women. The new lineup — featuring three former XPG4 members and two current XP8 members, Jeana Billings and Jennifer Davidson, alongside Anna Brunner and new member Laura Galdamez — made it clear that they are competing in 4-way Open. They were already tied for the bronze medal position after Round 6 in the unlimited category.

XPG4 - Ranch TNT SDAZ - Synergy X at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2026

The new XP4 lineup faced strong opposition in the battle for third place. SDC Rhythm XP have earned U.S. indoor and outdoor medals numerous times and even claimed a national outdoor title in 2019. The current lineup posted a new record average for the less than two years they have competed together. They opened with a 24.4 average at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2025 and added another full point to their average this month.

However, it was not enough to hold off the new XP4 lineup, with whom they were tied for third place after Round 6. This event marked the competition debut of the new XP4 lineup, although Jeana Billings, Jennifer Davidson and Laura Galdamez had previously competed at the Air World Championships 2026 in Abu Dhabi alongside XP8 alternate Jill Stephenson.

The current lineup, featuring Anna Brunner and Laura Galdamez, matched SDC Rhythm XP over the next three rounds before accelerating in the final round to secure the 4-way Open Class bronze medals by four points (260–256). XP4 did not pursue the 4-way Women qualification, leaving the contest to XPG4 and Ranch TNT SDAZ. The situation was somewhat overlapping, however, as XP4 members Jeana Billings and Jennifer Davidson were also competing with the new XPG4 lineup. Former XP Angels Natalie Arcia and Joy Jing joined them for the 4-way Women showdown against TNT.

TNT could not keep pace with the two reigning outdoor world champions and their well-prepared new XPG4 teammates, except in the final round, where they matched the 21 points after a deduction was applied to XPG4. The final margin between the two 4-way Women teams was 28 points (224–196), securing qualification of the new XPG4 lineup for the 4-way Women competition in Munich, Germany, next year.

The two former XP Angels, Natalie Arcia and Joy Jing, had finished with a 16.5 average at last year’s indoor championship and increased both their scoring output and overall performance level dramatically within a year. However, the gap to the strongest all-female lineup, XP4, as well as to their own teammates on XPG4, remained significant at 36 points (260–224).

XPG4 also maintained a clear lead over another 4-way Women team on the same leaderboard. Synergy X represents Singapore in the 4-way Women category. They competed for their country at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2025 at the same venue and are likely to do so again next year in Germany. Synergy X improved their performance level by three average points in less than a year (15.0–18.0) and were in close contention with TNT, who will represent the United States at this year’s outdoor world championship. Singapore has not fielded a team at an outdoor world championship since 1985, and TNT will likely face strong international competition from other countries.
