Sour Patch Kidz XP at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2025
posted Feb 22nd, 2026 - The 4-way competition of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2026 has concluded. Golden Knights and Arizona Airspeed both improved their performance and scoring compared to what they showed at the Wind Games 2026, while the new all-female XP4 lineup captured third place in 4-way Open, edging out SDC Rhythm XP. After the 4-way results were finalized, the 8-way teams returned to the tunnel to complete their ten rounds.

NSL News previously introduced the 4-way Beginner team Sour Patch Kidz XP in its update on February 16th. The local junior team, training at Paraclete XP, shared their history with NSL News, including how they met and how they became involved in 4-way training and competition alongside their parents.

Team members Ravenna Patterson and Sofia Diaz, both 12 years old, had already competed at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2025 and returned one year later for their second 4-way competition. This time, they were joined by Asher Grant (12) and Carys Brenner (11), forming a complete junior 4-way lineup for the national indoor championship.

The junior/senior combination in 2025 had finished at the bottom of the 4-way A/Beginner Class leaderboard with an 11.5 average. With a complete junior 4-way lineup this year, the team added a full point to their scoring average and handled the increased competition pressure on their own, finishing with a 12.7 average.

Two more teams than in 2025 registered in the same competition class at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2026. The significantly improved performance by Sour Patch Kidz XP — now competing with a complete junior 4-way lineup and an average age of under twelve — earned them third place in the U.S. rankings.

Sour Patch Kidz XP even contended for second place throughout all ten rounds. They held a one-point lead over Only4way Fans in Round 7 and were still tied for second after Round 8. Showing strong competitive spirit, they overcame a halftime deficit behind Uconn True Blue and climbed into third place by Round 8 before losing two points to the senior team Only4way Fans. In Round 10, all three U.S. medal-winning teams posted identical 14-point rounds, securing the bronze medals for Sour Patch Kidz XP.
