Did You Know...

... that the Czech Skywalkers Most were back in ICL January action?

Skywalkers Most at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025
posted Feb 9th, 2026 - Jan Klapka's Indoor Cloud League team at the Hurricane Factory in Prague responded quickly to the last-minute loss of the 2025 competition. Kyle Hermberg's team at iFLY Dallas had taken first place in the ICL 2025 season from the Hurricane Factory in December, as the NSL News reported on January 11th.

The December competition of the Indoor Cloud League 2025 season was the only one that Skywalkers Most did not attend last year. The young Czech national 4-way Open Class team competed for the Hurricane Factory from January through November, winning both open-class sequences (AAA/AA) and contributing a total of 527 points to the Czech team’s annual total of 1,442 points.

Without Skywalkers Most in December, the Hurricane Factory finished the season 14 points behind iFLY Dallas (1,456–1,442). The Sharks 4-way junior team scored a combined 23 points in the same AAA/AA combination (10–13), which was not enough to preserve the Czech team’s 13-point lead at the end of November. iFLY Dallas won the December competition by 27 points (107–80) and secured the top position on the ICL 2025 leaderboard, finishing 14 points ahead of the Hurricane Factory.

Back to indoor action: Skywalkers Most
Skywalkers Most returned in January with their usual world-class performance, contributing a total of 51 points across the two sequences. The Czech total of 143 points for the first month of the new ICL 2026 season is the highest since January 2025. Skywalkers Most’s 51 points in January (27–24) marked only the third time the team has scored more than 50 points for the combined AAA/AA sequences.

The Czech national team is now in full indoor winter mode following their last outdoor appearance at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025. They opened their 2025/2026 indoor season with a 27.0 average at the Flyspot Open at the end of October in Poland and finished with a 27.9 average at the Czech Indoor Open 2026 last month.

It was their fifth 10-round indoor competition of the winter season since October, despite not traveling to Spain to face their expected main rivals in person at the Wind Games 2026. That matchup will most likely take place at the indoor world cup at Weembi Lille in April. Before traveling to France, Skywalkers Most still have several 10-round competition opportunities for preparation. Weembi Lille is the venue where the Czech junior team HF Cubs won the indoor world championship gold medals in 2019 and HF Flying Circus finished in tenth place.
