Sonic left no doubt about his passion for the team during yesterday’s NSL Live Talk. He even mentioned that he might consider returning on camera if the full 2016/2017 lineup—Michelle Karamon, Brenn Richards, Christopher Kuhlmann, and Joey Marshall—were to reunite, whether as Ranch 2nd Generation or Arizona Airspeed.
It remains unclear how serious he was about his own on-camera comeback. However, he also revealed that he has a second favorite team. Although he was not on duty at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2025—with Regan Tetlow hosting the online show and
NSL News covering the event as usual—he followed the competition closely. Sonic was particularly impressed by the performance of the Czech Skywalkers, the youngest 4-way team in history. He even predicts that the former junior team will one day stand atop the podium.
The Czech national indoor and outdoor 4-way team erased the 22.4 average they had posted in December 2025 and returned to their highest performance level. Skywalkers completed the 20 competition rounds last week with an impressive 27.7 average and now appear ready to challenge their team record of 29.0, which they achieved on their way to a fourth-place finish at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2025.
At both recent events, Skywalkers faced no serious
opposition. Just a year ago, they were still the challengers—the underdogs. Only the “Big Three” teams—Aethers (FR), Airspeed (US), and HayaBusa (BE)—finished ahead of them. They followed this breakthrough with their first FAI outdoor competition, the Outdoor World Cup in Teuge, where they placed sixth overall. The results in Teuge were arguably even more impressive given the short transition period from indoor juniors to outdoor seniors. Sonic therefore has strong reasons to believe that the Skywalkers could become 4-way world champions in the near future.

The Czech Indoor Open also delivered an exciting AAA Class battle just behind the Skywalkers. Members of the former Czech national 4-way Open team, HF Flying Cirkus, reunited with former Bad Boys to form a strong lineup for the event. They faced the next generation of Czech 4-way
juniors, who are aiming to follow in the footsteps of their role models, the Skywalkers.
The Panthers are now in their second year of AAA Class training and competition, reaching the final stage of their progression through all NSL categories (RRR – A – AA – AAA). They finished with a new team-record average, breaking the 20-point barrier for the first time. The experienced AAA competitors of Flying Cirkus were forced to work hard to hold off the charging juniors. The decisive moment came in Round 8, which Flying Cirkus won 29–24, while the remaining nine AAA sequences were closely contested, round by round. The seniors ultimately carried a four-point lead across the finish line to secure second place.
