... that iFLY Dallas turns the tables on the 2025 ICL leaderboard in December?

ICL 2025 champion: iFLY Dallas
posted Jan 11th, 2026 - The Indoor Cloud League 2025 duel between iFLY Dallas and Hurricane Factory Prague has been decided, even though the overall 2025 leaderboard is not yet complete. At least iFLY Fort Lauderdale still has additional scores and videos from December that will be added as soon as possible.

Earlier NSL News updates highlighted how close the ICL battle between iFLY Dallas and Hurricane Factory Prague was at the end of November, with the most recent update published on 29 Dezember 2025. The competition had already become even tighter by the end of October, after Kyle Hermberg’s team at iFLY Dallas outscored Jan Klapka’s team in the Czech Republic for the fourth consecutive month. At that point, the Czech lead had been reduced to just nine points (1236–1227).

In November, the Czech mixed team of 4-way juniors and seniors bounced back and halted Kyle Hermberg’s winning streak. They won the November competition by a narrow margin (126–122), extending their overall lead to 13 points. As noted in the November NSL News update, however, this lead by no means signaled the end of iFLY Dallas’s ICL campaign. On six occasions during the season, the monthly winner prevailed by more than 13 points—most notably in August, when Kyle Hermberg’s team delivered a dominant 121–90 victory.

Indoor Cloud League December 2025: iFLY Dallas - Hurricane Factory
4-way junior team Sharks in AAA
The final and decisive Indoor Cloud League showdown of this duel in December closely resembled the August competition, when iFLY Dallas claimed victory by 31 points. In December, the iFLY Dallas team surpassed the 100-point mark for the 11th time in 2025, while Jan Klapka’s Czech teams recorded their lowest combined total of the year.

December marked the first time that Jan Klapka—the creator of a serious and well-organized 4-way junior training program—had to compete entirely on his own, supported by only three 4-way junior teams. Skywalkers Most, one of the world’s top indoor 4-way teams after finishing fourth at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2025, did not perform the December Indoor Cloud League sequences at the most critical point of the season.

In previous months, the former 4-way juniors had provided a solid scoring foundation for Hurricane Factory Prague, consistently delivering significantly higher scores in the two 4-way Open Class sequences (ICL AAA/AA). In December, however, the junior team Sharks had to step up to compensate for the absence of Skywalkers Most. While this was not the first time Sharks performed AAA Class sequences—as Jan Klapka aims to guide all junior teams toward the elite AAA dive pool—they typically contribute to the Czech monthly total with A/RRR scores. This time, their results were required to fill the AAA/AA sequences for the Hurricane Factory Prague.

On the opposite side of the Atlantic Ocean, Kyle Hermberg had his strong ICL lineup fully assembled for the final Indoor Cloud League competition of 2025. His former Dallas Dynasty teammates Michael Erickson and Caden Maydew, along with Lucas King, were once again available as player-coaches for the AAA/AA combination. There, they outscored the Sharks by seven points—this time without having to watch Skywalkers Most walk away with the top scores month after month.

The complete lineup of Spaceland Dallas Pajama Party (Beth Victor, Bren Saxton, Deanna Anderson, and Shawn Henry) contributed the scores for the A/RRR combination. Meanwhile, the Rookie Class (RR/R) duel between the Lucas King/Michael Erickson and Kyle Hermberg/Michael Erickson lineups pushed both groups of 4-way beginners to the top of the score sheets in both respective categories.

Olivia Mendoza and Maggie Yarnold, flying with Lucas King and Michael Erickson, won this duel with identical scores but cleaner performances. Hillie Machness and Paul Nowlin, coached by Kyle Hermberg and Michael Erickson, dropped one point in each of the two sequences. Even so, their scores alone would have been sufficient to secure the December victory for iFLY Dallas. It was back in December 2022 that iFLY Dallas last finished at the top of the annual Indoor Cloud League standings. They now move into the new year as the defending champion.
