Did You Know...

... that Indoor Cloud League July in Tampa included a coincidental CitiZen reunion?

July lineup of iFLY Tampa's Indoor Cloud League team
posted Aug 2nd, 2025 - The Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Tampa was able to tie the scores of the South Florida team at iFLY Fort Lauderdale in May, as the NSL News reported on June 6th. Then there was a difference of 17 points in June (99 - 82), and Marcella Rey's team was out of reach last month (106 - 77).

It was a new record total for iFLY Fort Lauderdale in July, as the NSL News reported on July 29th, while the iFLY Tampa team was still trying to catch up with some sequences of previous months. iFLY Fort Lauderdale is still quite far ahead of the iFLY Tampa team on the 2025 leaderboard at the beginning of the second half of the year. However, Mike Talerico and his ICL team in Tampa have now the opportunity to be better prepared for the monthly sequences, and they may reduce the distance in the remaining five months of the year.

Marcella Rey's team has the advantage with the AAA Class sequences, where the complete former 4Action lineup (Marcella Rey, Felipe Della Giustina, Jake Perlman, Anatoly Yuntsevich) are now familiar with the complete dive pool, and Natalie Arcia is in the AAA Class lineup of the XP Angels together with Marcella Rey.

Coincidental CitiZen reunion at iFLY Tampa in July
Only Mike Talerico was familiar and well trained with slot-switching sequences in the lineup that performed the AAA and AA sequences for iFLY Tampa in July. iFLY Fort Lauderdale, with Strong4 performing them, won both categories by two points.

Mike Talerico's AAA Class team mates at iFLY Tampa (Fawn Fowler, Amaranth Aquarius, Brian Babernitch) have not arrived yet at the AAA Class dive pool and use the Indoor Cloud League events to collect more experiences. They used to be team mates for CitiZens when they won the A/Beginner Class at the USPA Nationals 2023. Albert Etienne was in the tail slot for the 4-point battle for USPA gold with opponent XP Falcons.

Fawn Fowler, Amaranth Aquarius and Brian Babernitch continued in the AA/Intermediate Class of 2024 with new tail James Bartel at the national outdoor championships, while Albert Etienne launched his A Class family team AirGo, with his two daughters Hannah and Rebekah in the lineup. Albert Etienne and his daughter Hannah continue together and have joined forces with Brian Babernitch and former XP Falcons member Flaviane Venditti for AA Class team Relentless. Fawn Fowler, Amaranth Aquarius and Brian Babernitch ended up in the same ICL lineup by coincidence in July and performed the AAA/AA Class sequences together, with Mike Talerico as the 4th member.
