Did You Know...

... that Dallas Dynasty and Dallas Distraction were scoring for the iFLY Dallas ICL team?

posted Sep 8th, 2021 - The Indoor Cloud League continues with events and activities, even though the corona virus implications keep making it difficult for organizers to run events at windtunnels, and the running outdoor season deserves most of the attention for teams and competitors.

Scores and links to the videos are filling the ICL leaderboards very slowly, and the month of July has at least a competitive format by now, featuring a duel between the Czech teams at the Hurricane Factory and Kyle Hermberg's team at iFLY Dallas in Texas.

Four ICL teams had still posted scores and videos in June, and two of them were back on the July leaderboard, with more to come. The Texas team at iFLY Dallas had won the June competition by one single point over Paraclete XP (124 - 123) and followed up with their second highest total of the year in July.

The complete Dallas Dynasty lineup took on once again the two Open Class sequences (AAA - AA) and copied their June scores by the exact numbers (18 - 19) for the contribution of 37 points to the iFLY Dallas total in both months. Dallas Dynasty had placed 2nd in the AA/Intermediate Class of the national indoor championship at Paraclete XP, with Kyle Hermberg in the lineup.

Michael Erickson, Caden Maydew and Aaron Perkins then stepped up into the AAA Class world with player-coach and former Dallas 350 member Lucas King. They competed with the outdoor lineup at the Spaceland San Marcos Showdown of the Texas Skydiving League, with Lucas King's former Dallas 350 team mate Alan Levy on camera.

Kyle Hermberg now got even more support from another complete Texas team. The NSL News had reported on August 26th that 4-way and 8-way teams from Texas are "regular USPA medal contenders". Dallas Distraction is a new Texas team that starts in the A Class.

Nick Anderson, Pressly Bonner, Tarynn Ecton and Rajendra Sarkar competed first time at the same event where Dallas Dynasty posted their first AAA Class outdoor scores in April. Then they followed up in July at the Spaceland Houston Pre-Nationals.

The team members had participated in Kyle Hermberg's earlier Indoor Cloud League events. Now they were back with the complete Distraction lineup for the iFLY Dallas team in July and added 14 points to the ICL account.
