Did You Know...

... that Skydive Midwest NEXT and XPG4 both scored for Paraclete XP's ICL team in January?

XPG4: Tamara Bartlett - Jeana Billings - Morgan Womble - Michelle Karamon
posted Feb 6th, 2020 - January's 14+ leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League is complete, and it features the first scores and videos of the 2020 season. The early submissions of the Czech ICL team at the Hurricane Factory were covered by the NSL News on January 20th, and nothing has changed on the top of the leaderboard. The HF Cubs and the Czech 4-way juniors held on to their five January highscores.

Skydive Midwest NEXT were back with their new lineup for the 2020 season and posted the AAA Class score for the Paraclete XP team. NEXT had taken care of both Open Class sequences (AAA/AA) in December and left the AA Class sequence for another team in January. The NSL News update on January 1st had introduced the new NEXT lineup.

Another recent story on January 18th then announced that Michelle Karamon and Jeana Billings resume XPG4 action. Irina Meshcheryakova and Tamara Bartlett replace Katrina Autry Shows and Morgan Womble who were in the XPG4 lineup at the FAI Indoor World Meet 2019 and won the bronze medals in 4-way Women for the U.S. delegation at Weembi Lille.

Michelle Karamon and Jeana Billings had new member Tamara Bartlett in their ICL lineup, together with Morgan Womble, who re-joined the team to take on the AA Class January sequence for Paraclete XP.

New XPG4 member Irina Meshcheryakova was not available at the time of the Indoor Cloud League event at Paraclete XP. She is still on the January leaderboard, as she performed the AAA/AA sequences for the iFLY Seattle team.

Tamara Bartlett had also organized the new Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Denver and posted more scores and videos on the 12+ leaderboard. Then she had another player-coach slot in Paraclete XP's RR Class lineup.

XPG4 and XP8 members Michelle Karamon and Jeana Billings were also guiding two new 4-way competitors, Jakob Linden and Adam Plummer, through the R Class sequence.

The Capital Region team started the ICL 2020 season only four points behind Paraclete XP in 3rd place. Dee Caminiti and Gorka Amian launched the new ICL team in November last year with a total of 86 points and were up to 108 points a month later. The total of 106 for January is a strong start into the new year.

Former Golden Knights 8-way world champion Eric Heinsheimer is increasing his presence at Capital Region's ICL events, after stumbling into the first one in November on a very short call. He was back in December as a player-coach for almost exactly the same lineup and again for one of the six sequences.

He had a new and different lineup in January (Evelyn May, Stan Kay, Tricia Portman) and posted the scores and videos for two sequences (A/RRR) this time. Capital Region's Open Class lineup (AAA/AA) has been the same in all three months. Dee Caminiti, Kevin Larson, John Gross and Gorka Amian have probably plans that go beyond the monthly Indoor Cloud League events. The team's scoring numbers are already rising.

Kyle Hermberg, Lucas King and Brandy Verhalen enjoyed once again the participation of new 4-way fliers at iFLY Dallas. Donaldo Grajeda, who also posted scores and videos with his AAA/AA lineup, was the player-coach for Arpit Tyagi, Nick Anderson and Tarynn Ecton. They performed the RR/R sequences for the iFLY Dallas team. Arpit Tyagi and Nick Anderson had recently joined the ICL events, and Tarynn Ecton attended his first one.
