Did You Know...

... that iFLY Jacksonville posted the first Indoor Cloud League scores?

ICL August winner: Paraclete XP
posted Sep 30th, 2019 - The September competition of the Indoor Cloud League has come to its end, and the scores and videos will be posted in the coming days.

The September draw was different again for the teams on the two leaderboards, who perform the sequences in differently sized flying chambers. However, the previous draw for the month of August had identical sequences for all flying chambers, as it happens occasionally. Result of that situation is a leaderboard with all participating wind tunnel teams, who can then compare their scores and performances directly.

The NSL News explained earlier how Paraclete XP's ICL team won the August competition clearly, and a few other updates from different locations related to the August competition, as well.

This update wraps up last month's events with the videos that feature the August highscores. Paraclete XP lineups claimed or tied five highscores of the six sequences. Only iFLY Seattle's RR lineup (Katie Crabb, Brian Olmsted, with player-coaches Deb and Dave Correia) stole one of the highscores. The iFLY Seattle team took the 2nd place behind Paraclete XP8 in August, tied with iFLY SF Bay.

First ICL event: iFLY Jacksonville's September team
In the meantime, iFLY Jacksonville has been working on putting together their first Indoor Cloud League team, and the first event took place on the 26th of September.

The iFLY Jacksonville team started from the very beginning and with several participants who were completely new to 4-way training and competition. However, the event was well prepared by the management, and the inaugural FSL Tunnel Kicker camp and Indoor Cloud League event were completed successfully.

Even two members of the managament staff (Kim Ross, Lindsey Miller) signed up for the 4-way event and posted the first scores for their home tunnel.

Florida is now hosting three Indoor Cloud League teams at iFLY Tampa and iFLY Jacksonville with their 14-foor flying chambers, and iFLY Orlando in their 12-foot chamber. There were only three participants in August (Ali Bawden, Jim Prochaska, Ben Hill) who had previously attended ICL events in Tampa and Orlando. The October event at iFLY Jacksonville is scheduled for the 24th, and the goal is to cover all six sequences after missing one in September.
