Did You Know...

... that NSL Talk and Deep Blue videos complete a great day in Prostejov?

NSL Talk with Joey Jones and Gary Smith
posted Sep 1st, 2009 - Today's NSL Talk with Joey Jones and Gary Smith is now available. The interview took place at the Airtec tent in the middle of the DZ activities when both coaches were done with their work.

Joey Jones commented the situation of his teams after three rounds. Hayabusa Defence is in 2nd place, still in striking distance for the 1st place. However, the pressure is on, as France has a 5-point lead. He also commented the situation of the unofficial "Scandinavian Championship". Sweden's Evolution, Finland's Pro Team and Norway's Nexus are tied in 14th place at the moment. It cannot be much more interesting than that.

Gary Smith is a part of the UK showdown between five 4-way teams, including Kaizen. He is coaching Sonicnutz, the UK leader after three rounds with 38 points. Kaizen (36), Fusion (35), Phobia (34) and Escondido (31) are not far away at all. He also tries to bring Incognito Leutkirch closer to the Chicas who are two points ahead after three rounds.

Aerokart Deep Blue Maubeuge in action at the World Cup
The first three rounds of Aerokart Deep Blue Maubeuge, the French national 4-way team in the female category, are also available for reviews. Deep Blue is performing very strongly so far and stands with a 19.0 average after these three rounds.

The female teams are jumping the same competition draw as the Open Class teams. Deep Blue would currently be in 7th place of the Open Class competition with a 19.0 average, only four points behind Black Cat in the bronze medal position. There is no direct competition and not much pressure on the French team at the World Cup. However, coach Marin Ferre and observers in the USA and from the United Kingdom surely have their eyes on the French scores.

The 8-way teams will come back to the DZ tomorrow morning, the 4-way competition is back on in the afternoon.
